I actually have a pair of old Levi cut-offs that are definitely high-waisted. They’re nice and comfy, but I’m beginning to think that they’re a bit too…hipster?

I am too short and too curvy for these. Plus, I tried on a pair and it irritated my hip piercing a lot in addition to me feeling less than 100 percent in them.

Yes! But I don’t like the 90s grunge type, I prefer the pin-up/sailor style. :)
If you are too curvy it may not be very easy to pull it off, but it is possible!
I’m short (5’2”) and I have a pear shaped body, but I still wear my dark denim, high-waisted sailor shorts and I think it looks good. :D

I’m fairly short (5’5″) and very curvy and high waist-ed shorts look really good on me. I guess it depends what kind of curvy you are, but they can really draw attention to a small waist and help you rock a pin up girl style.

I bought a pair from A&F two years ago and I’ve NEVER worn them since it wasn’t very “in” back then. Now, it still fits I’m afraid to wear them since they’re pretty high :/

My daughter was just talking about these today and said she can’t wait to get a pair for summer. She suggested I get a pair too. I think I will, I remember high waisted denim shorts from a couple of decades ago and like them much better than the low rise ones that mean watching every time you bend if you wear a crop top. These are figure flattering and carefree.

I’m an athlete and have hips and a short torso. High waisted shorts are great because I can just embrace my short torso!
DIY by cutting up some 90′s mom jeans and pair with a tucked in sheer top.

Maybe I got something wrong, but aren’t the featured shorts technically not high-waisted? (even if it says so on the website) From what I see they’re still at hip level.
The shorts I have are as high as my belly button, and I love how it looks.
