Would You Wear… Flamingo Print?

Flamingo print trend
Product Info: Delia’s, C. Wonder, Madewell

It’s going to sound weird, but flamingos are really having a moment right now. All of a sudden, these tropical pink birds have taken the fashion world by storm. They are printed on shirts, embroidered on shoes, and even emblazoned on leggings.

From discreet to bold, these pretty pink prints are everywhere, but pick and choose where you want to rock this quirky-cute print. For example, a small-sized print on a button-up blouse would be much more appropriate for a meeting with your advisor than the loud leggings pictured above.

We can’t help love this trend, but we must issue a warning: Be careful about what you splurge on, as these flirty frocks may take a dive out of style just as quickly as they flew in.

This trend is perfect-for kids that is. I wouldn’t waste a penny on this cheap looking and basically summer only print. I hope it does fall out of fashion soon. Eww

I love flamingo print! I’ve got a flamingo print tie top from Forever 21 that I wear (to work) tucked into a coral pencil skirt and nude pumps or with cutoffs and sandals. I always get compliments when I wear it, never fails. Fun prints are definitely not for uptight people though.

Stop judging people just because they have a distate for a certain trend and voice their opinion. Having a dislike toward something makes you human not uptight. Where someone may love polka dots, printed pants or any other trend you may not.

I absolutely ADORE flamingos (possibly because of flamingo croquet in Alice in Wonderland, which I’m obsessed with) and this trend makes me so happy! :) Such a fun and quirky print!

    Alyss! Me too!
I really liked this dress from Debenhams:
And when this bra came out I REALLY wanted it:
It’s a fun print, but I probably wouldn’t buy anything too bright and bold. I’m not the bravest in my fashion choices!

I REALLY like these- except the leggings. They are a little much. Believe it or not, though, flamingo is classic and retro. It’s been around for a while. I think it can be done right. Definitely love this.

Nothing wrong with a little flamingo ;) These are so cute (except the leggings.. I agree that they’re a bit much – for me anyway). As for someone else – you kinda have to expect to be called out when your comment is mean spirited and childish. Your comment was perfect – for kids. Eww

This is such a fun print! Obviously not something you’d want to spend a bundle on but a fun top for summer? Sign me up!

Also I would totally buy those leggings to go running in. I love buying fun running leggings because it helps motivate me to get off my ass and actually go exercise :P

For a country that believes so much in freedom of expression, I expect its people to be less squeamish when it comes to critism. And it is about a trend not a person. Now that is childish
