Diane Kruger and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are not the only celebs obsessed with chain-strap flats these days. A quick Google search will reveal that all the stylish Hollywood stars have a pair. Will you take a cue from these fashionable celebrities and add a pair of chain strap flats to your own shoe collection?

In my opinion, a simple chain is the perfect way to add edge to the normally-sweet ballet flat. In addition, I imagine that not only do the chains add a twist of sophistication, they probably help the shoes to stay on better! I cannot wait until other brands and stores begin carrying these trendy shoes; I need a pair for myself!

Love this take on flats – so fresh! Cant wait till more stores start carrying these, I’ll definitely snap up a pair if I spot them.

Omg, I absolutely love them. I would definitely wear them! They add edge to basic flats. I haven’t seen any though. This is the first time I’ve ever seen or heard of them surprisingly.

I’m a little worried if the chains soon become painful to wear, but otherwise, those look really cool!

I love these looks! I agree with Stacy that they might be painful, but they look so ladylike!

Not loving it. Looks pretty silly to me.

Stacy — I think as long as the strap isn’t too tight it shouldn’t be painful, but it might just depend on the specific pair
I love this look, it adds a little edge to the typically uber girly ballet flat.

It’s like attached anklets (without the annoyance of it always falling down into your shoe). I like it!

I’ve seen a girl wear it in class, it looked really good on her. I just can’t find one in stores here. :/

I really like this. I’ve got a pair of cute flats, (one with a broken buckle strap!) that would be pefect for this look! This will work great, if I can find the right pretty chains. Thanks!

i like them! but it worries me that the chain might get too hot and burn you when you’re walking under the sun or on really hot days

I like the idea! I have trouble wearing flats, so I’m always looking for ones with straps. So these are awesome, especially since I love chains. Lol. =P

It just looks like an ankle bracelet to me. No use in getting a flat that specifically has a chain strap on it, especially since I have so many shoes already. Cute, though.

antionette – it wouldn’t burn you, think about it; you wear chain necklaces and bracelets in the sun, right? an anklet is no different, and this is just a shoe and anklet attached. Looks like a pretty easy DIY if you ask me.

Absolutely not. Anyone who walks in something like this is asking for foot trouble and irritated ankles. How attractive will red rub marks and fallen arches be?

Call me crazy, but I think this would be a very fun DIY. :) ~Doesn’t seem too difficult.
