Would You Wear… a Yellow Blazer?

Sunshine, daffodils, tiny-weenie polka dot bikinis… is there a color more summery than yellow? We simply cannot get enough of the bright hue, most recently in blazer form. Whether you’re headed to your summer internship or just around town, the yellow blazer is versatile and oh-so sartorially perfect.
We suggest pairing a yellow blazer with complimentary colors like blue or purple to make it pop. If your style leans more towards the classics, stay safe by pairing it with black and white.

I LOVE bright and bold blazers. I have one in every colour. They are so versitile and a classic piece that every girl should own. I wear mine all of the time. If they aren’t really your thing Forever 21 always has tons of them for cheap.

I like this so much!!!! I don’t think I’d have enough opportunities to wear it though. This has inspired me to consider buying a yellow trenchcoat style raincoat though (I need to buy one desperately).

YES! I actually have a yellow vest that is one of my favorite items to wear. It’s more on the mustard shade. I wear it with earth colors or white and brights. I linked to a photo :)

I love bright colours! But I feel for a yellow blazer you’d have to get the EXACT right shade for your skin color and have it made of some quality material or it’d look completely tacky and ridiculous.

I would! Yellow isn’t really my traditional color, but I found an $11 yellow tweedish blazer at Target and thought that it would be kind of a funky piece to spice up my wardrobe.. Plus for $11, it was worth the risk! I’ve worn it with dark jeans, black flats, a white silky top, and a gold/black statement necklace and got lots of compliments! But I’m not used to having yellow in my wardrobe, so thanks for the tips of other ways to wear it!
