I would totally wear this, I have been looking for a nice lacey bra to do exactly this. It can look really nice and kind of understated sexy…just having the lace peek out from a cotton tank or tee

Its not classy, but it is sexy. I love it, a baggy white tank top with a black lacy bra and jeans just give you a bit of sex appeal if you are someone like me who doesnt like mini skirts

I’m kind of confused here….in your article entitled “8 Fashion Rules you Should Follow,” you say that visible undergarments are never ok, and that if you are going to wear a white shirt you should wear a nude bra. Which is it?

regardless of how cute the shirt or bra is or how confident or shapely you are or are not, it’s still trashy. it’s perfectly possible to look nice without hanging out everywhere. so i definitely wouldn’t.

I think it looks really cool on Lily Donaldson and Rumi, but then again they can pull off most looks. I don’t like it on Rihannah..But I’ve never been a fan of her style, so that could be why. I don’t know how it will work “in real life” but I’m definitely willing to try, but like in a subtle way like Rumi. I have to say I agree with Sophie, it’s propably harder to pull this off if you have big boobs, simply because it’s easier to look sexier with big boobs (and trashier…). But most importantly if your going to try out this trend: confidence is the key, as it is with most other things… Because unless your living in NY your going to get som weird glances. But thats their problem, not yours. ;)

I love this. The key is to keep everything else somewhat basic and simple so that it’s clearly a purposeful thing and doesn’t look sloppy (of course in my opinion, at the end of the day the rules are there are no rules… but in general, I guess). I would definitely try it, but carefully.
