If you are looking for a way to polish up an outfit or accessorize with an ultra-trendy piece, the snakeskin clutch is this season’s go-to handbag. It’s posh, chic and incredibly versatile.

Whether you’re dressing up to hit the latest hot restaurant or you just need a simple carry-all to take to work, a snakeskin clutch can easily be the perfect bag for either situation. These bags range in color from black, brown and grey, to bold shades of neon green, raspberry, yellow and turquoise. Of course, actual snakeskin is neither animal-friendly nor budget-friendly, so we’re fans of the faux variety.

Need ideas on how to make your snakeskin clutch work for daytime?

I love clutches and I’m always on the lookout for some interesting bags. I actually have a grey snakeskin clutch that I wear almost everywhere.

I’ve seen a lot of these in stores lately–I think I would buy one if I could find it for a reasonable price in one color. I don’t think I’d carry the one pictured above, but that’s just me!

i think its an awesome accessory that could give the dullest outfit that little hit off edge. However, i dont fancy them too much, or any animal skin really.

I got one two years ago! Haven’t worn it too often, but I still can’t seem to part with it! It’s white and grey.

i would DEFINITELY wear one if i found the right price and size. The one pictured above is nice but for me what I really like about the snakeskin clutch is the change of texture the snakeskin gives. So, I’d rather have a more understated color. The envelope cut is my favorite.

Clutches aren’t my thing, I always put them down and forget them, but I’d love a snakeskin hobo-style purse <3 !

I love the style, but I hate having to carry clutches – I’d opt for basically the same bag + a long messenger strap.

Never! I think killing animals to wear is stupid and mean if you can help it. I will never unless it’s fake.

This is kind of OT, but did you have a hard time choosing between FIT and FIDM? Or did you know you wanted, for sure, to go to FIDM?
I’m struggling with the choice right now and was wondering if you could maybe help me out a bit?
