Would You Wear… a Neckerchief?

The neckerchief is the ultimate in dual personalities. On one hand, the silky scarf is quintessential Park Avenue ladies-who-lunch chic. Alternatively, this style can be rugged cowgirl cool when worn loosely like Georgia May Jagger. Blame it on Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection, but the neckerchief is the ultimate cool girl trend right now.

Bow it, knot it, or twist it, there’s no right or wrong way to style it. You can wear it under a collar (like the street style shot middle-center) or you could wear it over a button-up for a classic look. No matter what take you have on it, it’s a trend worth trying this season.

I really like the bow ones. They just look like a bow tie blouse to me. I don’t really care for the other ones.

I have a funny, inexplicable urge to say that bow tie blouses are cool. Probably because of the bow ties :-) On an unrelated note, they really look awesome, very college chic, I would wear them.

I think they give every outfit some kind of sexy stewardess-y look :)

I love it! You can totally dress it up or down depending on size, pattern, color, etc. It is a great versatile piece and I am definitely going to try to incorporate it into my fall wardrobe.

I love it…..reminiscent of a pussy bow blouse except these can be used with a bunch of different tops to create different looks. Great for us broke fashionistas!
