Would You Wear… a Mini Crossbody Bag?

Gone are the days of the oversized bag – at least, among Hollywood’s elite. Over the past few weeks, celebs everywhere have been seen toting miniature cross-body bags.
Carrying a mini crossbody bag is definitely easier than lugging a big, heavy purse around. These little accessories are perfect for a going out at night or holding your essentials for a day full of shopping. After all, who wants to carry a big bag on either of those occasions?
However, the miniature size of these bags can also be a problem for some girls. If you’re like me, you carry pretty much everything you own around in your purse – a mini crossbody would not even begin to fit all that stuff. Despite this, I do love this accessory for a fun night out. A fun mini crossbody bag in a funky color can add instant style to an evening outfit without overdoing it.

By far this is my go to bag on the weekend for the basic stuff keys credit card lip gloss and tissues I love how you can just wear it with a knit sweater over structure tights or with jeans

These have been popular on my campus for years. They’re super convenient. Mine’s from Coach and it can fit my cell phone, wallet, camera, keys and a few other small objects. Convenient, cute and a breeze to deal with.
One of my friends who is notorious for losing clutches when she goes out has been relegated to only using cross body mini bags. She hasn’t lost one yet.

I love the outfits you included. But I would not use cross body bags. Only because the strap looks weird on my boobs and it would never be able to hold everything I lug around with me. I always carry a book with me and cross body bags just can’t hold the latest Lauren Weisberger book.

I love my mini crossbody bags! While indeed too small for everyday use, they are perfect for a night out. They are more handy to carry around than a clutch so I prefer them whenever the occasion isn’t too formal.

i am a big-bag girl, but i have a little crossover bag like this which is perfect for nights out or when i’m just nipping out somewhere. it perfectly holds my purse, phone(s), keys, a bit of makeup and sometimes a water bottle!!
plus it means i have both arms fully operational!!

I switched to a cross body bag when Fall started. My old bag had been falling apart and when I saw this cute olive colored one at Target, I had to have it. Plus, I had just gotten some olive fingerless gloves from Amazon, so it was like it was destiny! It’s big enough that it holds everything I need (cell, ipod, ipod car radio player/charger thingy, chapstick, money, id, all that) and yet not so big that it gets in the way. One great things is that no one can steal it from you. At least, not unless they wanna take you with them

As a carrier of suitcase purses, I love these bags. I bought one on sale to use for my trip to France next summer. Harder to accidentally leave your purse on the metro when it’s attached to your body. And not only did it make a great addition to my Indiana Jones costume for Halloween, I’ve used it a ton of times since I bought it for little day trips or occasions where a giant purse just really sucks.
