Ahhh too bad this only works for American students!! I live in Paris which is like the n°1 city for fashion haha and I’m a fashion student also! Let me know when you’ll decide to give positions worldwide haha :)

Sonia, I didn’t read anywhere that they only accept American students, in fact they say in another article “we will absolutely consider applications from non-US college students, however we do give preference to US students since more than 80% of our readers are in the US.” I hope that’s still true cause I’m studying in Germany haha.
However am I still eligible to apply if I start university this month? I would love to write for CF and I have tons of ideas!

I am not that great of a writer but I love CF and I am currently studying to be a graphic designer. Would you all consider taking an intern in this category if I threw out some decent ideas?

Is it open to people who aren’t in the US?
I go to University in Salford – that’s Manchester, UK for those who don’t know – and I’d love to write for CF, I’ve been reading CF since I was 18 and I’m 21 now.

@Lu Oh! Right! I just read all the FAQ in the previous posts! Thanks for answering anyway :)
As they only consider a few outside the US, I think I’ll wait and prepare this more for next fall or spring 2014; I’m only starting my first year after all so there is time :)

I live in Taiwan and have been reading CF for years now, would we be able to apply?

As Lu mentioned, what I said in a past post holds true. We definitely do consider applicants from outside the US, however we do give preference to US students since more than 80% of our readers are in the US. But please apply if you’re interested!

Lu – Yes, so long as you’ll be a college student next spring, you can definitely apply!

Rachel – We don’t have tons of tasks for a graphic designer right now, but sure, send me an email with some ideas and let’s chat! :)

I know that applications need to be original, but how much creative freedom do we have? Would you rather it remain in email/blog format or can we go out of the box with videos, etc? Just curious. =)

Stephanie – Go for it! Like I said, the more creative and unique, the better. Funny enough, one of the writers we picked for this semester made a video. But, again, we want to make sure we see your skills too, so if you’re making a vid and you don’t just want to make videos for us, make sure to include your relevant writing samples/graphic skills/etc. elsewhere so we can look at those.

Oh I’m so applying again this semester. I hope I get it. This would be great now that I have declared Journalism as one of my minors.

Will you be hiring again for CF for the fall semester? I was suppose to start this spring but I’m currently in a military training school and won’t be able to attend in the Spring anymore but for sure will for Fall. I know I have written you before asking about writing for CF and you weren’t hiring at the moment. Please consider me for Fall semester. Would you like me to still apply for Spring even tho I won’t have any college fashion material till Fall?

I live outside the US and would like to try apply for this. But, I might enroll in uni by february/march. Am I still qualified to apply? Thanks.

    Hi Zephyr,
I didn’t receive an automated response to my application. I sent it in last night. I wasn’t sure if they come right away or not.

If I am picked to work in the Fall, could I apply to work again in the Sping? And if so, if I graduate in the Fall, would you still consider me for the Spring even if I’m a recent graduate?

Just wondering – Have decisions been finalised?

If I havn’t heard back, I can assume I didn’t get the opportunity?

I was also wondering if the applicants were chosen and if the chosen applicants will be mentioned in a posting?

    Thank you
