I like the majority of these looks, but I agree that they are not functional for us having winter this time of year! Also, the bottom of Blue Period looks reeeeeeeeally sloppy. I love the top half of her outfit, but those jeans fit her horrifically!

While I think these outfits are cute, none of them are really weather-appropriate for people living north of D.C.at this time of year. I would have liked to see at least one choice that took the coldness into account.

Uhhh Blue Period? I think not. The suggestions you gave for it are beautiful but the actual photo source, i dont think so. Looks like a hobo on the street look to be blunt, one of those Mary Kate & Ashley looks gone EXTREMELY wrong. Everything else is great (except that lady in all yellow is not preferable either although at least she’s somewhat stylish and the suggestions go with it). But wow, blue period, I mean come on none of the clothes on that woman let alone her hair flatter her body. If anything she should go on a show called “What not to wear”.

I deifnitely love the purple haze style cuz I personally love pruple as well and try to always incorporate it in my outfits.

Are you kidding about “Blue Period” girl? Maybe my computer is confused and is showing me a different picture. I totally understand that people like different styles, but I just don’t understand how that’s even the slightest bit flattering…you shouldn’t sacrifice looking good for taking a risk.

I love All American Girl and Purple Haze, though, and I like that you put actual wearable outfits next to the stuff we’d never wear.

Lots of great looks here. The purple haze look is my favorite for all the reasons you mentioned in the article. The fact that purple is the “it” color this season and she incorporated it into her look 4 times shows off her creativity for fashion. The look would’ve been boring if she stuck with just one shade of purple so I applaud her color choices and the overall look.

Maybe it’s just the picture, but the clothes look SUPER sloppy. I do, however, like the outfit ideas to the right of the model photo.
