It’s been a little quiet around here lately, and don’t think I haven’t noticed.
Thought I’d update you guys on what’s going on with me – it’s exam week and I’m inundated with papers and projects, most of which are due tomorrow. I’m sure all of you know how that is! So that’s why I haven’t been able to update here lately. Also if you’ve sent me an email and are still waiting to hear back, my apologies! But I’ll get to all of your emails by the end of this week, and I have some great posts planned for this weekend too.

I’m sick of the Uggs debate – people, just wear them if you want, and if you don’t want to wear them then don’t…. Let it die already…

What I love about CF is that it still has a small enough readership (despite its great success) that it feels pretty responsive and personal. I asked a while ago for an article on cute winter outfits.. and one appeared! As a senior living in Hawaii who will be attending a university in Boston next year (and thus has no winter-wear knowledge whatsoever) I am in desperate need of advice. I know its way into the Spring fashion season by now, but if you ever have some free time I would LOVE to see an article on what fashionable people wear in negative degree weather- the best long underwear, long coats, snow boots, etc for both staying warm and not looking like a total ugly blob. You can justify it (given the current spring fashion season) with the fact that winter wear sales are starting to end and girls should capitalize on that now maybe. Or you can do the article next winter… just sometime please!

Hi! I love the blog and like the above poster said I love how you actually answer reader questions. I know it’s super basic but I still have no clue how to pair skirts and tops. I’m a big fan of skirts but every time I buy a cute skirt I get it home only to realize that I have no idea what top to wear with it.
