I have two white dresses I bought for summer and they are great way to beat the heat and still look stylish. I think a lot of people think that white is fattening, but it's not necessarily fattening. The key is that lighter colors tend to highlight an area. When it's all over, though, no one area stands out. To highlight an area, add small bits of color back in like with chunky jewelry in bright colors or a colorful headband. Remember not to highlight by mistake. A dark jacket or purse or pair of shoes will stand out a lot more when wearing white.I'm a bit too shy for the cut-off shorts, though. In style or not, they definitely don't look good on most people. I prefer crop pants or skirts - even short skirts - to short shorts.I'm also not a fan of the monokinis that reveal and showcase (on most people) love handles.

I love the white dresses, particularly the first one.
