Finally purple. I am so tired of brown, grey and black. Purple looks great on so many people.

Mandarine – I agree with you about the dark purples. I like purple with some lighter colors though. For example, a medium to light grey. I wouldn’t put it with cream or any warmer-toned light colors though. I also think white can work with purple. It will be interesting to see the kinds of looks people will be putting together this fall!

I adore purple this season but I really think it needs to be fairly dark to work. A dark amethyst would totally work with gray or black or maybe even brown but if you pair it with something lighter like a cream or taupe it looks way to gaudy.
