I Love this style! unfortunately it will take some crazy magic of a sort for me to pull it off, I have a skinny ass and legs and a bit of a belly.... it was great for empire waists, which I love, but tough for pulling off the hourglass looking stuff. Any Ideas?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. this trend brings back feminity into fashion. it hasn't been around really since the 1950's. after the 50's everything became baggy and loose. their was nothing that fitted properly to show that the female's fabolous shapes. in the 80's they tryed but it looked hoochie instead. a waist is what defines women from men. it's also a look that works(in my opinion) for all shape types. especially for curvier chics like myself. i mean dont get me wrong babydoll tops are cute but only work on itty bitty's with small bust or slim hips. whether it's a high waisted pant or just a belted shirt, this look will make anyone chic in a matter of seconds.

I like both trends, they're both great in their own way. I really like wearing this one locket necklace I have from J Weber Jewelry- their stuff is really cool, you should check out their website sometime!
