Lisa - I agree with you. For myself I don't believe in the "pink cause' - and don't get it either - I agree with you that if you want to support a charity send your money straight to them - more is available to be done with. Please note that this is my own opinion - one that I am entitled to as is everyone that writes a comment.

And also like someone else commented at the top of the list bc has affected them and their family. Well me too. I am currently undergoing treatment for something called INFLAMMATORY Breast Cancer - this is a rare and extremely aggressive bc that many do not know about - awareness is just starting - I just had surgery last week to remove my breast and will next undergo the removal or both my ovaries (as they may be connected to the cancer) and I will then have radiation. IBC starts as possible mastitis or also shows up with an inverted nipple or your skin may turn to the 'skin of an orange' - it is not the 'regular' kind of breast cancer.

i have never really understood the idea of buying stuff that gives some of the income to a charity, if i want to give some money to an organisation ill just give it, like i will buy a product if i need it or want it. I do not get the combination, can someone explain the ide (except that certain companies can use good causes for some branding). i am ok with it, i just don't get it!
