I love uggs. I think it is funny because people fail to realize that they have other options. I have the classics and the knit for cold but not wet days in the fall because I live in chicago and the lining in the boot is perfect for the weather. Then I also have some that are more chic and fashionable and no one even knows that they are by ugg. Take a look at the site because the classic ones everyone are wearing aren’t the only pair.

Andrew, your comment is inappropriate for this forum. I would just like to add that I found a very nice boot made by Juicy, styled like and UGG but more form fitting to the ankle and calf. This boot comes in Tan and black with the word JUICY embroidered on the boot. The embroidery is very discreet on the black boot. ( I purchased this one as I did not want to advertise for JUICY and would appear clean for much longer)) The boot fits true to size and is warm with a single pair of socks. Definitely not waterproof but comfortable ad warm for cold, clear, dry days where you need to do a lot of walking in the city. It was difficult to find, currently a few pair at TJMAX, and selling for well over retail on EBay. Do not pay over $100. There are no markings or tags sewn on to the boot but I believe that they are JUICY LOGO BOOT.

I have lived in Hawaii most of my life so boots were not a shoe option. I took a pair of Bear Claws to Russia and they were very warm as long as they were dry. Dreamed of owning a tall pair of chocolate UGGS but by the time I moved to the east coast it seemed as though everyone in the city owned a pair. ( My Aussie friend thinks that it is just silly that Americans wear UGGS outside and what is the deal with the copper and bronze sheep?!) Today I purchased a pair of black Juicy Couture UGG like boots with the Juicy logo in black ( it is not so obvious and gives a bit of shape to the boot) They are much more fitted than UGGS which is good for a small calf and they seem to have a sturdier sole with some tread. I think that they will suit me well during the dry days of NYC winter. ( They were difficult to find though. EBay people wanted $200, they were $99 at TJMAXX) Check them out, they also come in light brown.

all of those boots are super cute but i will always choose uggs. I think they are cute, comfy, and super warm!! My heart belongs to uggs =)
