@Anna – I am 5’2 as well :D! Yay for short people, lol. I know what you mean by finding the right pair of boots, I personally love ankle cowgirl boots, or my winter UGG’s that are almost to my middle cav , they are an off brand to so no use of sheep in my boots :))! I also find the same thing with Jeans [ gr i hate jean shopping lol ] I always find the most awesome pair of jeans that I love, they fit great.. BUT – They are always way to long on me haha, I always try finding the same size but in “short” american eagle has short, tall etc, in jeans :))! Has anyone checked out Zigi Soho’s collection? They sell some at Journey’s but the best selection is at DSW shoe warehouse. They have the cutest peep-toe booties & heals & most are under $100!

Nice article Zephyr. These boots are really awesome. I have Dana High Leg Boots in brown and they look awesome on any costume and they are very comfortable to wear.

Does anyone have any idea who makes the red suede boots that Serena wore on an OLD episode of Gossip Girl called “The Blair Bitch Project”< She wore them with a tan Just Cavalli Jacket as she was walking Blair to school….I have lok everywhere for these and really want them but I cannot get any information on them! HELP!

I love wearing cute shoes – totally not a sneaker girl, I’ll only occasionally wear converse if I really need to. But to be honest, I have been wishing for shoes I could walk in and look cute in..I’m a bit tired of my flats. Flat, slouchy knee-high suede boots have done that for me and given me a little extra kick in my style. They’re more comfortable than my converse and the vans I steal from my sister occasionally :) I don’t know how I lived without them!

I just bought some new boots for this coming fall! Both the suede boots and ankle high boots. They are sooooo comfortable and cute and I’m excited to wear them for Fall!!! thx for keepin me on track

Jessica, You can try high ankle boots tucked into skinny jeans (the kind that hits the top of your ankle). Slouch kinds are alright, but how about a little heel on the boot?

I was seriously considering buying an Ugg-type boot for this fall/winter (it’s my first year in university, and I live in Canada, so it’s coooold), but now I’m thinking more about the suede type boots that I’ve seen around that I really like. But I find a problem with them – how do I wear them with jeans? I know they’d look great with tights, but I don’t wear skinny jeans, only flares really, so I’m sort of at a loss. I worry they will just get covered up, and their prettiness will go to waste! Any advice?

I’m wondering what style of boot would look best over skinny jeans? I really like wearing flats but come winter I think I would feel silly wearing them even if I changed once I got to school. I’m thinking a flat boot that appears slightly slouchy. I don’t think tight boots over tight skinny jeans would feel too comfy all day for me!
I’ll admit that I love the look of my UGGS over skinny’s but realize it’s time to update that look with a new style.
