Outfits Under $100: 1 Spring Maxi Dress, Worn 3 Ways

Outfits under 100 hm maxi dress

Due to its amazing versatility, you can find a maxi dress in almost every college girl’s wardrobe. They are often appropriate for class, but can easily be worn on the weekend when running errands or dressed up for a night on the town. Think of your maxi as a blank canvas and adorn it with jackets or sweaters. Accessorize away; there’s not a wrong way to wear one.

For this post, we chose this strapless black-and-white maxi dress from H&M to show how easily and how inexpensively it can be switched up. The price point was more than right at just $24.95, and with all items in each sample outfit combined, the total for each look rings in at under $100!

Casual for Class – $97.63

The maxi dress is inherently casual, so play up that vibe with an easy denim jacket and your favorite jeweled sandals. If you are headed to class, you will need a bag to tote around your books and other essentials. We can’t get enough of this leather-blocked tote – it’s so perfect for spring. Top off the look with bold chandelier earrings for an added touch of glam.

Flea Market Chic – $97.16

Whether or not you’re going to a flea market next weekend, we love the idea of wearing a maxi dress inspired by one. A wide-brim fedora in camel hue is the perfect accessory to base the rest of your look around. Search out some rad new wedges (you’ll wear them all summer long!) and a vintage-look necklace. This ensemble would be fantastic for brunch, running errands, or checking out a new bookstore.

Stylish All Day – $98.65

Product Information: Dress – H&M, Sweater – American Eagle, Shoes – 2B Stores, Belt – Uniqlo, Purse – Forever 21

Another way to switch up the look of your favorite maxi is to wear it as a skirt. Just pair it with a pullover sweater and nobody will know the difference! Wrap a skinny belt around the waistline for a little added shape. Rock it with matching sandals and a cross-body bag. This outfit is ideal if you’re going to be outside on a cooler day, since your shoulders will be covered up.

I love the under $100 outfit, but with tax it would be way over 100.Could you do an outfit thats like way under $100 like $60 or lower?

I second the previous because as an extremely thrifty shopper $100 still seems expensive to me. But besides that the dress is really cute and I like all these looks.

With tax even the most expensive outfit would be just over $100 not “way over”.
I personally love these posts because they show cute inexpensive items you can add to your wardrobe. It’s not like you’re going to buy every single piece of the outfit. Maybe you already have a dress or jacket or shoes.
