Outfit Inspiration
If you like this cheap and chic dress, you’re going to love the outfits we put together for inspiration. Read on to find out three stylish ways to wear this week’s Fabulous Find:
Outfit #1: Girl Meets Boy

Product Info: Dress- Target, Blazer- LC Lauren Conrad, Chain Brooch- Dorothy Perkins, Purple Brooch- Anthropologie, Shoes- Amazon, Tights- Steven Alan
This first look blends masculine and feminine elements to create a fashion-forward, polished outfit. Start by pairing our Fab Find with some gorgeous violet tights, which mimic the coloring found on the dress. A structured dark gray blazer adds structure and warmth, while lace-up black oxfords give off a comfortable and stylish vibe. Finally, accessorize with several vintage-inspired brooches, which help to dress up the blazer.
Outfit #2: Cozy Chic

Product Info: Dress- Target, Scarf- ModCloth, Cardigan- H&M, Earrings- Dillard’s, Shoes- urbanog.com, Socks- Urban Outfitters
For this outfit, pair the dress with a comfy, oversized, neutral-colored cardigan for a laid-back look. Next, wear some hunter green knee-high socks with flat leather boots for a casual, yet chic vibe. A leopard print scarf adds a stylish touch, while gold pyramid stud earrings lend a hint of sparkle. This outfit would be perfect cute-meets-comfy look for hanging on campus during the upcoming semester.
Outfit #3: Dressed Up Glam

Product Info: Dress- Target, Lip Color- Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in “Smitten”, Bag- Wet Seal, Belt- ASOS, Shoes- Charlotte Russe, Earrings- Miss Selfridge
Our final look is the dressiest of the bunch, making it the perfect ensemble for a nice dinner or another similar event. Start by pairing the dress with some strappy black heels, then add a bow-adorned belt for a glam look. Accessorize with a pair of elegant black feather earrings and a matching lace chain strap bag. For the finishing touch, add a bold lip color — like this balm stain from Revlon — which not only looks fab, but will last for hours.

Absolutly love the second look!! Great find! :)

I adore the first look! How do the ruffles look with larger chested women?
Salena
I love this post!! I have a top almost exactly like this dress. & ironically, I have the actual leopard scarf in the second pic! lol All three looks are so cute! I cant wait to try them out with my top haha thanks for posting tihs. :)
Salena
@Kalli I have a top with really similar ruffles to this one & I’m larger chested. The style works for me as long as I break it up with a cardigan, jacket or structured blazer; when worn on its’ own though, it can be a little heavy. Hope this helped! :)

I’m a HUGE PLL fan, and in my mind are flashes of suitability of outfits for the characters. I see Spencer in outfit 1, Aria in outfit 2 and Hanna in outfit 3! All great outfits, well put. Kudos :)
Nicole
Outfit two is adorable! I am loving those boots and I just found a great pair like it on the Chinese Laundry website. Perfection!
Ashley - Flagler College
@Kalli- I think it really depends on the size, shape and placement of the ruffles– the ones on this dress seem like they could work on larger chests as well as smaller ones due to the fact that the ruffles are tiered.
@Linda- Haha, I didn’t realize it until you said it, but I see what you’re talking about with the similarities to PLL characters! I just started watching the show last week, so maybe I was subconsciously influenced by the fashion in it? Anyway, I’m glad you like the outfits!
Thanks for the comments everyone!
Maria
