I had a large tear in my upholstered bed that was frayed pretty badly. I applied this glue, trimmed the fray and was able to sew the tear closed without any further fraying or ripping. This sealant definitely added some strength to the weakened fabric and made for an nearly seamless repair. Highly recommended!

A friend told me about this item. I have an antique quilt that had a tear and i used it on that and then sewed the tear. Then I applied the liquid again and now now can barely it the tear!
I love this stuff. It works really well to stop frays on clothes. You do need to cut the tip of the bottle off, but I would highly recommend this product. However, shipping was SLOW. I cannot find how to write a seller review, otherwise I would mention this there.
I use this with almost every sewing project and on most craft projects that involve fabric. Any fabric ribbon that gets trimmed needs a little spot of Fray Check, on both ends of the cut; the trimmed section and the end left on the spool. The hold lasts through plenty of wear and many washes. Extremely useful product!
Got this to use on the ends of yarn so they would not fray after the product is finished. Saw it on a tutorial I was watching so I decided to try it myself and it works great. Recommend it highly for yarn to keep it from fraying.
I'm a doll-costumer and I work with a lot of fine fabrics that fray. Fray Check keeps what I'm working on from unraveling before it's sewn. But it does need to be tested on a scrap of the fabric your working with so you'll know if it stains or dries clear. More often than not, it dries clear. Fray Check for me is as necessary as pins.
