Fresh Fashion Icon: Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton is probably the most well-known of all the Fresh Fashion Icons we’ve featured thus far. If you didn’t know already, Kate is set to become a princess(!) next month when she marries England’s Prince William. The media has been in a frenzy over the impending nuptials, so naturally we had to get in on the action.
Of course, we’re not featuring Kate due to the media hype – we’re in love with her impeccable sense of style. You can tell just by looking at her photos that the girl knows how to dress! Kate’s outfits are timeless, feminine and perfectly tailored. In addition, she always lets a little whimsy shine through with her use of elaborate hair accessories.

Prim & Polished
Whether she’s attending a charity function or preforming royal duties, Kate always chooses outfits that are chic and polished to perfection. She opts to wear fitted, yet conservative pieces like belted coats, skirt suits and opaque tights.
Dress, Trench Coat, Clutch, Earrings, Pumps
Channel Kate’s look with an outfit that is fit for royalty. Wear a fitted peach-colored shift dress paired with a classic belted trench. A stylish pair of heels, a structured clutch, and some elegant drop earrings finish this chic outfit.
Casual Elegance
When she’s not attending royal events, Kate’s everyday look is fairly low-key. She’s usually seen wearing jeans and a classic top or a simple day dress. Her outfits are very unfussy, but still give off an elegant vibe.
Jacket, Blouse, Jeans, Necklace, Sandals, Bag
Mimic Kate’s casual-yet-elegant daytime look by pairing some dark-wash, bootcut jeans with a fitted button-up top. Add a lightweight jacket in a pretty green shade for a look that is both subtle and refined. Accessorize with some sleek chocolate brown wedges and a matching purse large enough to hold all your essentials. A delicate charm necklace is the finishing touch to this laid-back and stylish outfit.
Unique Hair Accessories & Hats

Whatever the occasion, Kate is usually spotted wearing an elaborate hat or hair accessory. These one-of-a-kind pieces reflect Kate’s personal style and give a little extra oomph to every fabulous outfit she wears.

Even though they’re absolutely gorgeous, the ornate head pieces Kate dons may not be the most practical choice for the average college girl. For a more wearable take on Kate’s look, try out a stylish hat or fun headband to add some spice to an everyday outfit.

I love Kate’s style! She dresses conservatively, but oh-so-pretty. This is what I strive for in my own style! She’s still sexy but without every showing too much.
