Sugar, spice, and everything nice! If you grew up in the ’90s, The Powerpuff Girls was probably among your favorite television shows. Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup could always save the day no matter what evildoer they faced. Not to mention, they always looked extremely cute while fighting crime.

Even though we’ve all grown up since then, this trio can be used to inspire your everyday looks. Below, I’ve created a series of outfits inspired by each Powerpuff Girl. Scroll down to view them all!

The brain of the group, Blossom is known for being the self-designated leader of the Powerpuff Girls. Capture her girly chic look in this outfit. Wear this pink belted sleeveless dress with patent leather Mary Jane pumps. Add a bow in your hair to finish off the Blossom-inspired attire, perfect for fighting crime or the mid-week blahs.

Bubbles tends to be the cute and bubbly one of the group, and you can look just as sweet as she does with this ensemble. Try a white button-up blouse tucked into a light blue skirt. Slip on some black Mary Jane flats over knee-high socks and add a black bow belt to complete this adorable outfit.

As for Buttercup, she’s known to be a bit more spice than nice. Pull together her edgy vibe by pairing a green t-shirt with white skinny jeans. Wear black ankle booties and a black scarf to add a bit of flair.

What do you think?

Did you watch Powerpuff Girls as a kid? Which one was your favorite? Would you wear any of the looks above? Would you like to see more posts like this one in the future? Let me know in the comments!

I love *all* of these! The outfit for Buttercup has to be my favourite though.

Since you’re on the topic of girl power 90’s cartoon characters for fashion inspiration… how about doing a post on the girls from Sailor Moon? They had some pretty wicked style!

I would definitely wear the Bubbles outfit. Maybe not the socks on a regular day, but the rest of it would be perfect.
The powerpuff girls are/were adorable – good idea.

MY FRIENDS AND I WERE TOTALLY GOING AS THIS FOR HALLOWEEN THIS YEAR! One of my friends chopped off all of her hair, so she was designated Buttercup. And I was Bubbles, and my other friend was Blossom. But they bailed on me, and I was the only one that dressed up.

Love this post, thank you :D

Kindergarten was ALL about Powerpuff Girls for me! Bubbles was always my favorite, love the outfit you picked out for her! :) Apparently, the character Sara Bellum stands for “cerebellum” because she symbolizes the brain of the Mayor…. strange!

This was an interesting idea but I think you could have got a lot more creative with the outfits… I would have liked if it was more of an “inspired by” than trying to replicate what they wore. Just seemed a little too simple for me.
