Celebrity Street Style Roundup: The 3 Best Celebrity Looks of the Week
Hey guys! I’m Demi, and I am so excited to bring you the latest celebrity-inspired looks every week! I am one of those girls who needs her daily dose of celebrity– not just the gossip, but the fashion! When getting dressed and putting together outfits, I always pull inspiration from what the celebs are wearing– they are great indicators of trends, since they are so privileged to be so closely linked with the fashion world.
This week, my favorite looks come from three fabulous women: Olivia Palermo, from “The City,” Sienna Miller, and Kate Hudson. Read on to check them out and see how you can get each look for yourself!
Look 1 – Olivia Palermo

Olivia’s look caught my eye because mixed prints are a huge trend this season. I’ve been mixing florals with stripes, but Olivia went so far as to combine two differently striped pieces– a boat neck top with navy stripes, and flouncy shorts, with thinner black and white stripes. She is also sporting cat-eye sunglasses, which are so hot right now, to give her outfit a vintage feel.

Products: Blazer- Topshop, Shirt- Topshop, Skirt- Delias, Belt- Asos, Shoes- Forever 21, Bag- J.Crew, Sunglasses- Endless, Earings- Fantasy Jewelry Box
To recreate this look, I chose to pair a striped skirt with a differently striped t-shirt. Next, I found this incredible off-white lace blazer which makes this look especially perfect for the season, and you could transition the look into the fall by switching in a blazer in a darker, solid, hue like navy blue.
As for accessories, the cat-eye sunglasses were a must, as were a cute pair of pearl earrings. I chose a straw bag since it’s summer, but a sturdier top-handle bag like Olivia’s would be great in the fall. The belt is crucial because it breaks up the colors and stripes, and I am dying to buy it myself. Notice the way it’s looped behind itself, giving a carefree effect…love it!
Finally, a girl’s best friend: shoes. Flats like Olivia’s would look super cute with the outfit, but I decided to substitute some oxfords instead, since they are one of the biggest footwear trends right now. The light brown on the shoes complements the other colors so well.
P.S. How stylish is Olivia’s boyfriend, Johannes?! If only more guys had his impeccable taste…

Sienna Miller always rocks fresh, trend-setting looks. This week, as usual, she looks completely fashion-forward in high-waisted beige shorts. Fabulous! Her gray crop top is sheer enough to give us a peek of her lacy bra; we saw similar lingerie-revealing looks on the runways of Fendi, Christian Dior, and Dolce and Gabbana (to name a few) this season. Pulling her look together are the insane buckled wedges that I have been considering for myself; I love the light color because it gives them a more feminine look in contrast to the heavy hardware.

Products: Cropped Tee- The Outnet, Tailored Shorts- Urban Outfitters, Ruffled Tap Shorts- Urban Outfitters, Lace Bra- Topshop, Quilted Cross-body bag- Asos, Multi Buckle Wedges- Topshop, Lace-up heels- Forever 21, Necklace- Forever 21
To recreate this look, I found some beige tailored shorts with a high rise like Sienna’s. But if you want to be a bit more daring, try the ruffled tap shorts instead – they show a bit more leg, and they are a playful take on the lingerie-revealing trend; plus, I am a sucker for ruffles. Next, I added a simple gray crop top, and underneath, a lacy bra to peek through!
Add a long necklace with a charm of some sort to hang over your top, like this one with a feather. Next, I found this neutral beige quilted cross-body bag which not only looks expensive, but is so convenient because it leaves your hands free! Then of course, I finished things off with the buckled wedges. If they are a bit too wild for you, you could try some black lace-up booties, which still give the look a unique appearance.

Finally, Kate Hudson gives us the perfect look to emulate for a summer concert. Here she is at Glastonbury, looking fashionable yet functional in denim cutoff shorts, an olive green blouse, an off-white blouse thrown on top, along with a snake print bag and ankle boots ideal for walking the grounds.

Products: Crop Tee- Metro Park USA, Waistcoat- Miss Selfridge, Shorts- Abercrombie & Fitch, Boots- Endless, Tote- Bluefly, Sunglasses- Topshop, Camera- Amazon
Being a college girl, I’m not a huge fan of blouses unless I have an occasion to wear one to. For a concert, I would rather wear a crop tee (seriously, if only you guys could see my wardrobe!) in olive, a color which echoes to the military-inspired trend that is so hot right now. This off-white waistcoat is a fun play on Kate’s blouse- it still has the flowy effect, but it’s not as fancy. The snake print tote is great to throw your camera in when you’re not snapping pics of the band, and the ankle boots will not only make your legs look great in the denim cutoffs because of their small heel, but will also be fabulous in the fall and winter with jeans.
What do you think?

Great looks all three. My favorite is Sienna’s. I did a ‘Get the look’ about that outfit a few days ago. What a coincidence!

Hi Demi,
First, I love your nameeee! I also love your article! Thanks for the great suggestions and looks. My favorite is Kate Hudson’s, except I actually prefer your look–I just ordered the boots so thanks for that! I never considered booties, but I will totally wear them with my jean shorts. What other ways could I wear those booties? I look forward to reading more of your articles!
Happy 4th!

I have to say liked this a lot! Just like you I need my daily dose of celebrity to function LOL . My absolute favorite were the oxfords in the 1st outfit… I am obsessed with those shows and will be stoping by my local forever21 tomorrow to get them :)
I love oxfords and have been wearing them for a while but one of the reasons I liked them so much was because I hardly ever saw anyone wearing them so I’m hoping they don’t become too popular in my town or I’ll start to despise them.
Arisel
LOL I wrote shows instead of SHOES … oops!

This is my first time posting on this site but i absolutely love it. I was wondering if you have thought of doing an article on how to dress like olivia palmero. I admire how she always looks polished, chic, and timeless. I mean whether you love or hate her on the show the city most love her style.
Valeria
I fell in love with the outfit Olivia Palermo’s rockin’!
I think that if I put “wearing Olivia Palermo’s outfit” as a goal would definately put me on track of losing my extra weight for summer (I’m on winter now)
I loved, loved, loved it <3

I absolutely loooove Kate Hudson’s outfit. Her’s is by far my favorite. I’m not sure I could pull off Olivia’s just because I’m not sure how I feel about mixed prints. Some girls can and some can’t and I’m not entirely sure I can.

Wow! I like your looks even better than the celeb outfits. Great job chica! I’ll be looking forward to your posts.

I really liked the first outfit. Not a huge fan of the second two. Not because you interpreted it poorly– I’m just not a fan of crop tops. I think they are hideous personally. But the first outfit is just too cute for words. Its totally something I would rock.
Jennifer
Honestly, I loved the outfits of the celebrities but I felt they didn’t really match their interpretations. By this I mean I felt the outfits chosen just weren’t as cute as the one’s the celebrities were wearing, especially the first one. I just really don’t see that shirt and skirt going together. But I could be wrong. Everyone has different styles.
lisabrowett
I do agree with you ~~

Yeah a fellow terp!!!!!!
Sari
I like your picks! I’ve always been a fan of Kate Hudson’s style: bohemian, edgy, and glam. That’s a win in my book.
Claire
I hope this is a recurring type of post because I too need my daily dose of celebrities, especially their fashion.
I love the looks you chose, very contrasting ideas but all super cute. I’ll definitely be using some of this for inspiration.
I so wish I had the funds to splurge on those wedge buckle booties — they are stunning.
Holly
I adore olivia palermo and her style and that outfit is so summer chic!
Irene
Hi Demi,
Loved your looks! I can’t wait for your next articles! I especially loved your interpretations, in fact, better than the celebs’ outfits. I am looking forward to you putting looks together for the fall and back to school outfits. I want to look chic but still comfortable. Please do some fall looks soon! You seem really cool too btw!
Hannah
aw, i love both olivia’s and kate’s outfits. you did a good job on those. :)
Willow
Thanks for the great looks! I hope to see even more, especially as I’ve begun fall school shopping and I need some great ideas. I especially love jewelry so any ideas in that department would be appreciated. I’m the kind of girl that likes to dress up even to go to class!
