Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Taylor Swift, Jessica Hart, & Bella Thorne
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Taylor Swift, Jessica Hart, and Bella Thorne. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Taylor Swift’s Letterman Jacket & Shorts

Songstress Taylor Swift has a defined style that usually incorporates classic or vintage-inspired pieces. This week she made a statement, rocking a varsity letterman jacket, matching twill shorts, a white t-shirt, brown oxfords, and wayfarer sunglasses. Her look has a cool vintage feel, but is still super modern and incorporates current trends like oxford flats.

A letterman jacket is an unexpected choice that will up the style quotient of any ensemble. A simple white crew neck t-shirt is the ideal top to be worn with the statement-making jacket, while twill shorts in a matching color round out the look. Add some oxford flats for a collegiate vibe, and finish with some classic wayfarer sunglasses.
Look 2: Jessica Hart’s Chic, Sporty Look

Model Jessica Hart was spotted walking her tiny and adorable dog on the streets of New York City looking… modelesque. (No surprises there!) She wore some shiny black athletic-inspired shorts with a perfectly cut white t-shirt, metallic flat sandals, round sunglasses, and a slouchy black motorcycle bag.
I love this outfit because it’s an example of how styling makes all the difference. I love how Jessica made her athletic-inspired shorts look chic and trendy thanks to her choices of accouterments.

Jessica’s look is all about the athletic-inspired shorts. These leatherette boxing shorts have a similar vibe to Jessica’s, and while at first glance may only seem appropriate for nighttime, when worn with casual pieces like a draped white t-shirt and flat sandals, they can create a super cool daytime look. A black slouchy handbag and large round sunglasses add extra flair.
Look 3: Bella Thorne’s Mix and Match Ensemble

Young actress Bella Thorne has been attracting attention for her fab personal style; this week, she rocked a super cute mix and match look. She wore pale yellow jeans with tuxedo stripes down the sides, a camouflage jacket, printed purple top, a rose colored bag, and flats with sequin detailing. While this may sound like a whole lot of prints and colors mixed together, Bella manages to make them work for a cool, trendy look.

The colored denim trend is still going strong for fall, and pale yellow jeans are a nice way to try out the trend without going for an overly bold color. A camouflage jacket is an eye-catching piece that toughens up the jeans a bit. Next, add trendy accessories like a neon pink crossbody bag and gold sequin flats. (These are really similar to Bella’s.) Since the look incorporates so much color and pattern, a simple white t-shirt will look great under the jacket, but feel free to swap in a colored top like Bella’s if you’re feeling bold.

I love these, especially the Letterman jacket look! Just a suggestion- if you have an outfit that includes a white t-shirt, maybe put it on a non-white background, because it is almost impossible to see otherwise.

Although all three of these looks are super chic, I definitely love Jessica Hart’s look the most. She looks effortlessly put together, plus her cute dog earns her extra points!
I really like the idea of sporting a letterman jacket – one of my favorite bloggers, Andy from StyleScrapbook, used to sport it on her blog all the time. I’m not quite sure how it’d look on me though. Perhaps I’ll try it out this season!
