Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Sophia Bush, Zoe Saldana, & Jessica Alba
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Sophia Bush, Zoe Saldana, and Jessica Alba. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Sophia Bush’s Cute & Casual Look

Actress Sophia Bush was spotted this week in an outfit that, while pretty simple, immediately caught my eye – it’s casual and comfy, yet also a little bit trendy. She kept her look in the neutral color family, wearing a beige long sleeve top with some denim cutoffs, and adding fashionable accessories like cool necklaces, a cognac colored suede statement bag, and some brown suede booties with a small heel.

Frayed denim shorts are a classic summer staple, but feel updated for fall when paired with some brown suede booties with a small stacked heel. This beige long sleeve shirt features lurex stripes which make it a bit more unique than your average top, although a plain beige shirt or sweater would work well, too. Finish the look by adding a distinctive necklace and a statement bag in the same neutral color family.
Look 2: Zoe Saldana’s Put-Together Pretty

Zoe Saldana looked pretty and put-together this week in some high-waisted skinny jeans, a sleeveless floral top, beige flats, a magenta tote, and sunglasses. Her outfit is feminine yet modern: the floral print of her top incorporates bold colors rather than soft ones, while the high-waisted cut of her jeans shows off her figure.
This outfit would be great for a day spent out and about, like grabbing lunch with friends or going to class.

To get Zoe’s look, try some high-waisted jeans in a medium wash – these ones are perfect for the transition from summer to fall. Tuck in a sleeveless floral top to show off the cut of the jeans; try to find a top with a darker floral print, like Zoe’s, for a modern edge. Beige ballet flats are a nice addition to the look as well as your closet – they are super versatile and go with everything! Finally, accessorize with a tote bag that brings out the colors of the floral print; this magenta hue makes a statement, and the sleek design of the bag speaks to this look’s modern feel.
Look 3: Jessica Alba’s Tough-Girl Floral

Jessica Alba has been rocking covetable outfits for years, but this summer, she has been especially well-dressed, debuting fashionable outfit after fashionable outfit. This week, she mixed a girly floral skirt with some tough-girl lace-up boots, a cool asymmetrical top, and a dark green oversized clutch.
I love this look because it’s so unexpected: Jessica’s edgy shirt and boots transform her girly skirt into a statement-making piece, rather than an item that fades into the background. In addition, the look is a little bit dressy, but still casual enough to work for daytime.

A floral print skater skirt in a dark color looks great with an asymmetrical black top and some pink lace-up ankle boots. (If you’re going for something more demure than Jessica’s look, simply swap the boots for sandals or flats!) Keep other accessories minimal, since the outfit itself has so much going on; a green clutch in a clean envelope shape and some simple plastic sunglasses make perfect finishing touches.
