Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Sophia Bush, Miranda Kerr, & Ana Beatriz Barros

Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Sophia Bush, Miranda Kerr, & Ana Beatriz Barros

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Sophia Bush, Miranda Kerr, and Ana Beatriz Barros. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Sophia Bush’s Color-Infused Ensemble

Actress Sophia Bush looked super chic while doing some holiday shopping this week. She wore cobalt blue coated jeans, a white button-down shirt layered under a black crew neck sweater, and some black pointed toe pumps.

Sophia’s look is chic but also trendy, combining classics like a basic white shirt and black pumps with of-the-moment coated skinnies. She proves that it’s possible to rock timeless basics while still looking young and modern.

Blue coated jeans combine the look of leather pants with the versatility and comfort of denim; choosing some in a bold color like cobalt is a sure way to turn heads.  A white button-down blouse is a classic wardrobe staple, and looks especially chic when paired with a black crew neck sweater. Pointy black pumps step the outfit up a notch and make it perfect for a casual dinner out or holiday get-together.

Look 2: Miranda Kerr’s Updated Classic Look

Miranda Kerr has always had noteworthy personal style, and over the last few weeks, it seems like she’s been topping herself with amazing outfit after amazing outfit. This week, she opted for some light wash destroyed slim-fit jeans, a striped top, a classic beige trench coat, and leopard print loafer flats with tassel detailing, along with a fab Celine luggage tote.

Miranda’s outfit is awesome because it takes classic pieces like the trench coat and striped top, and modernizes them with funky pieces like the ripped jeans and leopard print flats. (Okay, we’re drooling over the Celine tote, too!)

Miranda’s look incorporates the mixed print trend in a classic way: the leopard print flats look trendy when paired with a simple striped top. Similarly, light wash destroyed jeans provide a cool contrast to a classic trench coat. Each piece of this look speaks for itself, so keep any other accessories to a minimum: oversize shades and a black handbag will suffice.

Look 3: Ana Beatriz Barros’ Transformed Neutrals

This week, model Ana Beatriz Barros wore an outfit that was equal parts fun and sophisticated, thanks to some brightly colored jeans and a neutral top and blazer.

You might not think to pair a bold color like coral with beige tones, but as we’ve discussed here on CF before, we love the look of bold colors paired with beige.  Ana’s look works for a bunch of different occasions; I particularly like it for a casual day at an internship (substitute ballet flats for the sandals), since it has that professional yet youthful look to it.

To get Ana’s look, start with some bright jeans in a fun coral hue; they provide an unexpected yet stylish contrast to the beige pieces on the top half of the look. A beige blazer and button-down blouse make this outfit surprisingly sophisticated and are wonderful investment pieces for any wardrobe. These brown and coral sandals match the outfit and are perfect when paired with a skinny brown belt.  A structured black mini satchel bag completes the look.

I’m going to Arizona for Christmas break and i leave on Saturday. I’m having trouble packing, because my winter shoe collection is seriously lacking. When i saw the look for Ana Beatriz Barros, i was shocked she had on sandals and no one said anything. I thought sandals during the winter was a fashion no-no. So quick question: Can i bring my sandals to Arizona?

I don’t like Miranda Kerr’s jeans – they don’t work with that outfit at all. Black (non-ripped) jeans would be much better.
