Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Nathalia Ramos, Gwyneth Paltrow, & Jessica Alba
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Nathalia Ramos, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jessica Alba. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Nathalia Ramos’s Colorful Chic

Actress Nathalia Ramos looked chic while shopping this week, trying a more classic approach to the colored denim trend. She wore tangerine skinny jeans with a white and black graphic t-shirt and some eye-catching black heels. I love the look of black and white paired with the tangerine denim – it’s an unexpected way to add a pop of color and is both fabulous and incredibly simple.

To get Nathalia’s look, pick a pair of skinny jeans in a similar tangerine shade. Next, the bold jeans are toned down by classic pieces like a striped boatneck t-shirt and fabulous black wedge heels. (These wedges have buckle detailing like Nathalia’s.) To really make the look pop, add a statement necklace – this one will contrast nicely against the striped t-shirt – and finish with a black bag with gold detailing.
Look 2: Gwyneth Paltrow’s Denim-on-Denim Look

Gwyneth Paltrow was recently spotted in a look that would be perfect for summer: some white skinny jeans paired with a denim shirt, bold red moccasin booties, and a pendant necklace. This look is fabulous on multiple fronts: I love the eye-catching combination of white denim paired with chambray, and Gwyneth’s edgy red booties give the look a cool twist.

Gwyneth’s look is all about wearing denim-on-denim, one of those outdated fashion rules we love to break. These white jean shorts look summery and fashion-forward when paired with a denim shirt with the sleeves rolled up halfway. A beaded necklace, red moccasin flats (the perfect pop of color), and a fringed bag give the look an edgy, boho-chic feel.
Look 3: Jessica Alba’s Daytime Colorblocking

Jessica Alba has been all about colored skinny jeans lately – she’s been photographed in so many different hues, and wears each pair with style. This week, she chose teal denim, wearing her pants with a white shirt and bright coral blazer and carrying a structured handbag. This look caught my eye not only because of its brightness, but because it’s a fun take on more classic clothing combos, like jeans and a blazer.

You can’t be afraid of color if you want to rock Jessica’s outfit! Teal skinny jeans look great when paired with a coral blazer and neutral accessories, like woven wedges, a white t-shirt, and a two-tone structured handbag. Woven wedges and the bright colors make this look perfect for the spring and summer.

Your ‘native-american’ inspired look is bordering on offensive. Would you publish an African American or Jewish themed outfit? No, that would be absurd. As a native woman I personally do not feel that Gwyneth Paltrow is representing an entire race of people by wearing boots.

I am in love with Natalia’s coral skinnys! I have been craving some like that for a while! Also, Jessica does an excellent job of color-blocking, I am loving the peach blazer.

I completely agree with Keely. I don’t even think “tribal” would fit for Gwyneth’s outfit either. Be careful where you tread when using Native American… Urban Outfitters could attest to this.

Jessica’s look is hands down my favorite. Coral and turquoise is such a perfect and unexpected color combo for spring.
Apart from issue that the other girls bring up about the second look, I also don’t think Gwen looks completely put together with her look. I love chambray on white denim, but she’s looking a little off in that pic.

Sorry about the Native American reference, guys – I thought I had edited that out but I guess it didn’t save. Definitely apologize; I know that’s not OK and isn’t something we’d normally post here. Have edited the post to remove it and will be more careful next time.

I also really like Jessica’s outfit! She’s been wearing so many great outfits lately (check out WhoWhatWear for more examples) and I’m definitely feeling that coral blazer. I love how she accessorized with neutrals and even though she wore bright colors, here classic pieces look so put together.

I would definitely wear Jessica Alba’s outit. The most simple jeans and shirt paired with a blazer just screams fashion!! :)

I really like Jessica’s outfit !

I think they’re all dressing in sort of the same style. Casual (coloured) denim looks. Looks good on them, it suits them well, just not too much of a fan of it myself.
