Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Mila Kunis, Nicky Hilton, & Leann Rimes

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Mila Kunis, Nicky Hilton, and LeAnn Rimes. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Mila Kunis’ Modern Riding Look

Actress Mila Kunis looked ready for the fall season in some olive green skinny pants tucked into some brown riding boots, along with a tweed blazer and structured leather handbag. Mila’s look is classic but has a modern feel; her tweed jacket recalls Chanel, and her leather bag and boots would be perfect at a riding club, while her black aviator sunglasses and olive green skinny pants provide a trendy touch.

I personally live in my basic skinny jeans during the fall season, so I am constantly looking for alternatives, and these olive green skinny pants fit the bill perfectly. I also like this look because it balances dressy pieces — like the tweed sweater from Topshop with gold buttons — and causal basics, like the sleek yet rugged boots. Leather accessories like the bag and boots also offer an unexpected twist when paired with a classic fabric like tweed.

Look 2: Nicky Hilton’s Upper East Side Chic

Nicky Hilton looked very “New York” while in Manhattan recently, wearing leather shorts, a black tank top, and an oversize plaid wool peacoat, along with some black booties.

I’m a warm weather kind of girl, so in order to help myself deal with the transition to cooler weather, I try to wear my shorts for as long as possible. Therefore, I love the idea of shorts in a heavy material for the fall – Nicky’s would look fabulous with just about everything. Also, the color palette of this look solely consists of black, gray, and beige, so the look is especially appropriate for the season.

This outfit reminds me of something we would see on Gossip Girl: it’s so chic and trendy, with a real city vibe. To get this look, pair leather or faux leather shorts (that should preferably fit slightly loosely) with a simple black tank or shirt, and a statement-making plaid peacoat. Black ankle boots will give you a leg up, and a black handbag complete the look.

Look 3: LeAnn Rimes’ Pops of Color

LeAnn Rimes went bold recently in some camel-colored skinny jeans and almond-toed suede wedge booties, rocking a chunky belt in a similar color, and a striped t-shirt.

While camel is generally considered a neutral color, by pairing it with similarly colored shoes (which completely envelope her feet), LeAnn creates an adventurous look. Her bright blue bag, with a blue and purple silky scarf tied on the handle, adds an additional pop of interest.

Wedge ankle booties are very trendy and are popping up everywhere this season; they look so futuristic, and create quite a statement when paired with similarly colored pants, like these tan skinnies. Keep the rest of the look relaxed with a striped t-shirt and some fun aviators, and don’t forget a large, bright blue bag for that pop of color. American Apparel has a line of vintage silk scarves which would look fab tied around the handle of your bag.
