Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Kourtney Kardashian, Lea Michele, & Miley Cyrus

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Kourtney Kardashian, Lea Michele, and Miley Cyrus. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Kourtney Kardashian’s Lacey Frock

Kourtney Kardashian, always quite the fashionista, stepped out with her adorable (and equally stylish!) son Mason, looking chic and summery in a sleeveless creme-colored lace dress, a large tribal-inspired pendant necklace, and leopard-print flat sandals. She also wore cat-eye sunglasses and carried an amazing yellow Goyard bag.

I absolutely adore Kourtney’s look because it mixes the tribal trend, as seen on the sandals and necklace, with the femininity of the lace dress. I also love this look because the dress mixes modern with classic – the shape of the dress is quite modern, while the lace fabric brings in a hint of tradition.

You might think finding a dress like Kourtney’s would be difficult, but while looking online, I found a large selection of modern-looking lace dresses. My favorite was the cream-colored creation above, which is strikingly similar to Kourtney’s frock. Add a leopard print sandal for an unexpected pop of pattern. Finish the look with a large tribal-inspired necklace, cat eye sunglasses, and a structured mustard-colored bag.

Look 2: Lea Michele’s Striped Maxi Skirt

Glee star Lea Michele was spotted out and about this week, rocking a navy blue and white striped maxi skirt with a simple white V-neck and straw fedora. Her ensemble is an example of a great “off duty” look because it’s easy and comfortable, but also stylish and pulled-together thanks to unique touches like the stripes and fedora hat, as well as her cat-eye sunglasses.

Maxi skirts are everywhere these days, so it’s easy to find one with stripes and a nautical color theme, like this skirt from Nordstrom. A simple white V-neck tee goes with everything, and in this case is the perfect simple top to balance out the bold skirt. Instead of a black quilted bag like Lea’s, consider choosing a red quilted handbag instead, for a fun pop of color. Keep the rest of the look simple: Just add effortless flat sandals, a straw fedora, and some cat-eye sunnies.

Look 3: Miley Cyrus’ Kimono Jacket & High-Waisted Denim Shorts

Miley Cyrus was spotted with her on-again beau Liam Hemsworth this week, while wearing a trendy, California-chic outfit. She wore cuffed high-waisted denim shorts with a white tank top — simple enough! — and brought the look beyond basic with a bold, printed kimono jacket. These jackets have been making fashion waves lately, and are absolutely perfect for warm weather wear. Miley accessorized her summery look with long pendant necklaces, strappy black sandals, and a slouchy bag.

A plain white tank top and high-waisted denim shorts are transformed with the addition of a bold, kimono-style jacket. These jackets usually come in prints with tribal or naturalistic feels; this chiffon one, sold by Urban Outfitters, has a floral print. Since this look has a bohemian vibe, feel free to wear lots of statement jewelry, like this long tassel necklace from Forever 21. Finally, strappy black sandals and a cross-body bag pull the look together.
