Celebrity street style: Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, and Whitney Port

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, and Whitney Port. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Kim Kardashian’s Colorful Skirt

Soon-to-be-bride Kim Kardashian was spotted out running errands looking fun and flirty in a printed, high-waisted skirt, black tank top and espadrille wedge sandals. Kim wore her tank top tucked into the skirt, and highlighted her figure by wearing a wide black belt around her waist. Her accessories were bright and festive; she chose a green crocodile print clutch, some cat-eye sunglasses, and an armful of gold bangles.

Kim’s look is centered around a bold printed skirt. When shopping for a similar skirt, be sure to look for one that has movement! A simple black tank top balances the brightly patterned skirt, while a wide black belt around your waist will show off your figure. If you prefer a more casual look, flat black sandals are a cute complement to the outfit, or go for some wedge espadrille sandals that tie around your ankles for a look that’s just like Kim’s. A crocodile print clutch in a bright color is a fun way to accessorize your look, as are some cat-eye sunglasses and gold bangles.

Look 2: Selena Gomez’s Bohemian Night Out

Selena Gomez was out for dinner this week in a black maxi skirt (which looks super roomy and comfy) and a beige fringed shirt. She accessorized this bohemian look with black sandals, some large gold earrings, and a printed handbag. I love the way Selena transformed a bohemian look – which would usually be more appropriate for daytime (this outfit could work at a music festival, for example) – into a more polished night look, simply by adding the right accessories.

A black jersey maxi skirt just may be your new best friend – not only are these skirts so “in” right now, but they can be worn a million different ways, and are so comfortable! For this look, pair the skirt with a fringed t-shirt, another style that’s becoming super popular lately. Strappy flat sandals are an easy and cute footwear option perfect for day or night, while leaf-shaped earrings fit the look’s boho vibe. Finally, if you’re after Selena’s look, Urban Outfitters sells a handbag that’s strikingly similar to hers, with a small fox print – so fun!

Look 3: Whitney Port’s Chic Suit

Whitney Port showed off her unique sense of style by pairing cropped red pants with a sheer blouse and black blazer, along with some statement-making gold pumps. Red pants are an up-and-coming trend, and Whitney shows us that by pairing them with neutral colors like black and creme, the pants still look bold, yet utterly chic.

To get a Whitney-inspired look, start with well-fitted red pants: These Forever 21 pants are slightly cropped like Whitney’s, and are the perfect way to show off these statement-making gold pumps! Next, find a creme-colored blouse to tuck into the trousers, and balance the entire look with a black blazer. There’s no need for heavy accessorizing here – a single oversized cocktail ring is a fun yet elegant way to add a hint of bling.

I love Selena Gomez (she’s stunning and just seems like someone you’d love to be friends with), but I’m just not feeling that outfit. Frumpy, much? I love Whitney’s outfit, but NOT on her – it makes her look unhealthy and emaciated! Therefore, of the three, I’d have to go with Kim – pretty surprising :)

I love Kim’s outfit. I don’t think that Forever 21 skirt is as voluminous as her’s though. I’m more inspired by the poofiness of the skirt than the tribal print.

I’m not really digging any of these. Kim’s dress is sooo short, I don’t like the whole fringe thing in Selena’s and Whitney’s outfit is just bland to me.

kim looks so cute! the ankle straps don’t make her appear shorter, which is so hard to do. i’m into the maxi skirt, but i don’t know if i would wear it like that. it looks cute on her, though! and i love the last outfit!! :)

Love Kim Kardashian but her outfit does not go with her body type. The way the skirt hugs her curves is not appealing it makes her look bigger than she actually is. Love Selena’s outfit the best..it could be because I am into the whole boho chick thing right now lol

I love Whitney Port’s outfit the most – I love the bold colour of the pants and the exaggerated shoulders, and how it just looks so put together and chic. Great choice!

I love love love Whitney’s outfit! Definitely feeling the red pants. I’ve been looking for a pair, but just can’t find any! Is there a way you could link them to the actual pant? Forever 21’s website is way too overwhelming to shuffle through…

Although I think Kim’s outfit is cute, I don’t think it flatters her at all. The puffiness of the skirt makes her look very short and “voluptuous” – not the good kind of voluptuous either. I love Whitney’s outfit! Very sophisticated and polished but still sexy and daring. Selena’s outfit is also cute if you’re into the whole boho trend.
