Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Kate Bosworth, Olivia Palermo, and Leslie Bibb. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Kate Bosworth’s Whimsical Winter Look

Kate Bosworth blended the whimsical with the wintery this week while out shopping. She wore a flower maxi dress — perfect for a summer night, right? — but paired it with a navy parka with a fur-trimmed hood and brown ankle booties, making it appropriate for the season  The whole look reminds me of something you’d see captured by a street style photographer on the streets of Paris.

One thing that really makes this outfit work is the color palette: Shades of gray, navy, brown, and burgundy all help create a classic look, and – since the outfit is already so bold – help keep it muted enough for daytime. So choose pieces in those colors and you won’t go wrong.

This flowy gray elastic waist maxi dress is the main piece of this look, and also makes an awesome investment for the warmer months to come. I also love this parka, especially because of its navy color — it’s a departure from your average winter coat. Kate kept her accessories classic, with large cat-eye sunglasses and a burgundy handbag, so add those and you’re done!

Look 2: Olivia’s Glamorous Walk in the Park

Olivia Palermo always looks glam, even when walking her dog! This week, Olivia participated in a photo shoot in NYC doing just that, wearing a camel-colored coat with a fur tippet, a long navy cardigan underneath, and navy over-the-knee boots over some skinny black pants. The fur tippet adds instant glamour to the look, making it appear luxurious and expensive, but this glamour can be achieved on a budget, too.

Black jeggings are a personal staple of mine: They’re super comfortable and ultra versatile. Olivia made a cool statement by combining navy pieces with her black pants, so don’t be afraid to wear a navy cardigan and navy over-the-knee boots with them. Next, a camel-colored coat in a classic shape gets pizzaz with the addition of a fur tippet (which can be used on your other coats, as well!).  A burgundy crossbody bag adds a pop of color.

Look 3: Leslie Bibb’s Stylish Sweater Look

Actress Leslie Bibb rocked an aztec-printed sweater, skinny jeans, aviators, and ankle boots for a day at the hair salon.  The pieces that make up her outfit are simple, but with the bold print of the sweater, the whole look becomes super stylish and eye-catching.

Leslie’s look centers around a printed sweater — try picking one with an aztec or nordic print that incorporates some color, like red, for a pop. Pair it with some skinny jeans, a black scarf, aviator sunglasses, and a matching bag. Ankle booties look awesome with this look, but it’s so versatile that it can also be worn with flats or regular boots.

I love the second two celeb looks, but the first looks a bit haphazard. I wish she’d maybe color-coordinated her accessories together a bit more or gone with a sock or stocking — as it is, it sort of looks like she had to raid her closet after a few weeks without laundry.

    Olivia looks amazing, as usual!

Not liking Kate’s look but Olivia and Leslie look adorable. I love Leslie’s Aztec print cardigan and the fur in Olivia’s outfit.

The one thing that bothers me about celebrity street style is that the things they wear aren’t generally as interesting as what real people wear. If I saw someone wearing either of the second two looks on the street, I probably wouldn’t be drawn to them or look more than once unless a particular piece really interested me. Kate’s look inspires me because of the way it plays with proportion; the other two just teach me that adding a trend to a conventional outfit (like a faux fur scarf or printed sweater) makes people pay more attention.

Olivia can seriously do no wrong. Such a classic and effortless look for a walk in the park.

SOOOOOO much fur in this article! My worst nightmare. But the looks are cute! I’d love to try a more humane version of the outfit with the tippet! It looks trendy and classic at the same time! And I really love sweaters like in the last outfit. weirdly enough though when I went Christmas shopping this year it seems that they were hard to be found. At least that was the case here in Kentucky!
