Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Jordana Brewster, Emma Roberts, & Nicky Hilton

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Jordana Brewster, Emma Roberts, and Nicky Hilton. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Jordana Brewster’s Updated Preppy Look

Actress Jordana Brewster looked preppy yet modern while out shopping in Los Angeles. She wore a white button-down shirt tucked into lilac chino shorts with a brown leather belt. Her look’s sweet color palette gives it a fun, causal vibe and keeps it from looking stuffy. For accessories, she wore simple sandals, carried a gray tote bag, and opted for some sunglasses in a modern shape.

Jordana’s look is awesome because it is appropriate for so many different settings and occasions. While short-shorts are a summer staple, it’s worth investing in a pair of longer shorts like these, too – they’re both versatile and refined. But you don’t have to sacrifice style for appropriateness; choose the shorts in a fun color that reflects your personality. These lilac colored shorts look fab with a crisp white button-down shirt tucked in, while a brown belt breaks up the colors and defines the waist. Finally, keep accessories simple – finish the look with simple sandals, a minimalist handbag, and some uniquely shaped sunglasses.

Look 2: Emma Roberts’ Perfect Summer-to-Fall Transition Look

Emma Roberts looked effortlessly chic while grocery shopping this week. She wore dark skinny jeans with a billowy yellow blouse, brown gladiator sandals, and a gorgeous designer satchel in burgundy. Emma’s look represents a perfect summer-to-fall transitional look thanks to its yellow and burgundy color combination, as well as its mixture of textures, from the suede bag to the eyelet blouse.

Choosing a billowy blouse in a bright, unexpected color is an instant mood booster, especially when you find a blouse in a shade of yellow like Emma’s! Dark skinny jeans help balance the loose shape of the top, while brown gladiator sandals are a perpetually chic choice. Pick a bag in a burgundy color if you are going for a look that can be worn into fall, and add brown aviator shades to shield your eyes from the sun.

Look 3: Nicky Hilton’s Walk on the Wild Side

Nicky Hilton always puts together simple outfits that have small bits of flare to make them stand out. Take this weeks outfit, for example: a simple black pocket tank top and jean shorts were transformed by Nicky’s choice to take a literal walk on the wild side with some leopard-print loafers, as well as a straw fedora hat and Hermes belt. Loafers are a hot trend lately and many celebs are embracing these comfy shoes in a number of different prints and fabrics.

Frayed jean shorts and a black tank top don’t have to look plain – you just have to add some bold accessories. If you dare to walk on the wild side like Nicky, Forever 21 has a pair of leopard print loafers that are awfully similar to hers, for a fraction of the cost. A straw fedora hat and Wayfarer sunglasses are summer staples that work with tons of looks. Finally, while a Hermes belt may be a bit out of reach for the average college student, any black belt with a gold buckle will do. (This one is patent so the shine lends extra eye-catching appeal.)

I love the first two outfits!! I like Nicky’s shoes, too, but the neckline isn’t really my style.. but these looks are really re-creatable, and show how classy you can look with accessorized basics

It’s not even August! Too early for “summer transitioning to fall”… I’ll still be wearing sundresses come mid September or later!

I actually like all three of these looks! I’m obsessed with colored shorts right now. Emma’s look kind of leans more towards pre-fall than summer. And I would kill for some leopard slip ons like Nicki! Great selection of girls. :)

Nicky’s not wearing a bra….come on, girl, that’s an essential when you’re in public!

I liked the first 2 outfits. I normally don’t like bottoms in non neutral co ours bt the lilac shorts were an exception! But I don’t really think the last outfit anything unique.. It’s something I’d see every other girl on the street wear, at least where I live. I didn’t think it should have been on the list.

I saw those leopard print shoes, fell in love, and clicked on where to get them. Then realized I work at Forever 21. There goes my paycheck…
Love the first look too, but not a huge fan of Emma’s.
Also agreed, bra-less is fine, if we can’t tell you’re bra-less. Come on Nicky.

Oooh, second and third looks are my absolute favorites! :) I love how Nicky can pull off the plain black tank + shorts combo so well, I tried once and ultimately failed… haha. But now, I’ll know to add a fedora and of course, the leopard shoes!
