Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Jessica Alba, Busy Phillips, & Olivia Palermo

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Jessica Alba, Busy Phillips, and Olivia Palermo. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Jessica Alba’s Casual Cool

Jessica Alba was the epitome of low-key cool this week, rocking olive green cargo pants while out in L.A.. Jessica paired her pants with printed flats, a slouchy dark gray t-shirt, gold necklaces, and a black-and-white plaid top, then accessorized with red sunglasses and a red crossbody bag.

Jessica is definitely among my top 3 celebs to look to for outfit inspiration; she always sports the latest and coolest trends in a unique and personal way that always feels authentic. Who knew cargo pants could look so trendy? I am totally obsessed with how this outfit balances comfort and style.

I can’t wait to try this outfit out when it gets a bit warmer on the East Coast; it’s comfortable, casual, and oh-so cool. Olive green cargo pants or harem pants are unexpected yet trendy and ultra-comfortable. Wear them with a slouchy gray t-shirt and gold jewelry, like this bar pendant necklace that’s similar to Jessica’s.

Red accessories like modern sunglasses and a crossbody bag pop against the outfit’s neutral color scheme. A loose-fitting black-and-white plaid shirt and printed flats add some dimension to the outfit and amp up the comfort factor.

Look 2: Busy Phillips’s Fun Floral

Actress Busy Phillips looked ready for spring this week in a fun look that featured a bold floral print. Busy wore a navy blue floral dress, along with navy tights, a denim jacket, and gray ankle booties. Busy made her look pop with fun accessories, like a bright red handbag and light-colored Wayfarers. This ensemble is feminine yet modern, and depending on the weather, can be worn with or without tights.

Busy’s look is another outfit that I will be putting on mental file until warmer weather hits, but some of you are lucky enough to enjoy wearing it now. A floral print dress is pretty and feminine, but is made modern with the addition of a casual denim jacket and cool accessories, like light-hued sunglasses and a structured red handbag. Finish the ensemble with navy tights and gray ankle booties.

While Busy wore this outfit during the day, it can also work for night – just remove the denim jacket and sunglasses for a low-key going out look.

Look 3: Olivia Palermo’s Cold Weather Chic

Olivia Palermo was spotted walking her adorable dog (also bundled up for the cold!) in NYC, and she looked both stylish and warm. She was wearing a black parka jacket with a fur-trimmed hood, dark skinny jeans, black buckled ankle booties, and a red scarf.

While Olivia’s outfit is simple, its fashion-forward touches, like her bucked booties and a bright red scarf, make it stand out.

Olivia’s outfit is a simple yet stylish option perfect for beating the cold of winter. A pair of dark wash skinny jeans show off some cool buckled ankle booties, while a black wool-mix parka with a faux fur-trimmed hood will keep you warm and looking cute.

Scarves are a great way to infuse style into a winter look, so choose one that features a standout print or color (or both!), like this red plaid option. For a sunny day, try out some sleek sunglasses that are similar to Olivia’s.

Love these outfits! So practical and wearable for the average girl. And lo and behold, I own almost every element of all three of them! Just need to find that gorgeous parka…

Love the parka that Olivia has on. This outfit kind of reminds of cute skiing outfits. Would love to see a post on cute outfits for days of skiing, snow boarding, and sledding BEFORE and after the slopes.
