Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Jessica Alba, Alessandra Ambrosio, & Katy Perry
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Jessica Alba, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Katy Perry. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Jessica Alba’s Girly Rocker Ensemble

Jessica Alba is always one to embrace trends, and the floral jeans trendseems to be one of her favorites at the moment. This week, she styled them for daytime, as pictured here, and rocked a metallic pair for a night out. Jessica’s daytime look (seen above) takes feminine floral jeans and a pretty white blouse and transforms them by adding a leather biker vest and black leather ankle boots. I particularly like that Jessica’s jeans are various shades of gray – the monochrome color scheme helps tone the print down a bit.

Floral print jeans in a darker tone like gray are great because they work for multiple seasons, unlike some of the lighter shades which are most appropriate for the spring season. A breezy white blouse, worn over them, is in keeping with the seemingly girly look, until you add a tough-girl biker vest to spice up the look. Black buckled booties amp up the rocker look, as does a studded tote bag.
Look 2: Alessandra Ambrosio’s Fall Shorts Look

Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio’s off duty style is always fabulous, and this week, she rocked a look with a laid-back California vibe. She wore maroon denim cutoffs with a loose fitting white top, beige suede booties, and a colorblock tote bag. I love Alessandra’s look because it’s a great example of fall fashion for warm climates: The maroon color of her shorts is perfect for fall, as are her suede boots, but the look shows enough skin to keep her cool. If you’re lucky enough to still be enjoying warm weather, try Alessandra’s look!

Maroon denim cutoffs are a cool alternative to your typical blue jean shorts, especially since they match the color of the falling leaves. A loose fitting white top is a simple yet cute addition, particularly when paired with eye-catching accessories, like suede ankle boots, a colorblocked tote bag, and some sunglasses.
Look 3: Katy Perry’s Modern Hippie Look

Katy Perry showed off a modern take on bohemian style when stepping out with her beau John Mayer this week. She wore black skinny jeans, a longline white top, and an eye-catching denim jacket with printed sleeves featuring a hippie-esque print. She also wore a black wool floppy hat and black ankle boots.

This look is all about denim: This contrast sleeve jacket pairs perfectly with basic black skinnies and a simple white tee. Boho accessories are the perfect complements; black fringe ankle boots and a wool floppy hat complete the look’s hippie vibe.
