Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Emma Stone, Michelle Williams, & Jessica Alba

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Emma Stone, Michelle Williams, and Jessica Alba. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Emma Stone’s Cute Cold Weather Look

Actress Emma Stone braved the chilly streets of NYC in an outfit that was still super cute and brought some brightness to the gloomy day. Her brick red skinny jeans made for the perfect pop of color, and looked great with a marled gray sweater, black toggle coat, and some beige suede ankle boots. Emma’s look proves that you can still stand out in a crowd even if you’re dressing for winter weather.

Emma’s look centers around her brick red skinny jeans, which really make her outfit pop. Pair some with a marled gray sweater– this one has studs on the shoulders for an extra pop of interest. Neutral-colored ankle booties and a black toggle coat finish off the look.

Look 2: Michelle Williams’s Cool Layered Look

Michelle Williams also provided winter dressing inspiration this week, in an outfit that featured some impeccable layering action. She wore black skinny jeans, a striped top, a denim button-down shirt, a red plaid scarf, and an army green parka, along with some flat black booties and black wayfarer sunglasses.

Michelle’s look is a great example of the mixed prints trend at work – stripes and plaid can actually look awesome together, and they work especially well when paired with a classic denim shirt.

In this look, basic black skinny jeans are transformed by a few cool, layered tops. A black and white striped top is balanced by a denim shirt, while a classic plaid scarf adds an extra pop of print. To stay warm, wear an army green parka on top, and keep any other accessories simple: black wayfarer-style sunglasses and simple flat black booties will do the trick.

Look 3: Jessica Alba’s Modern, Ladylike Look

Jessica Alba always looks put-together, and this week was no exception! She was spotted out and about in a ladylike yet modern getup, consisting of a tweedy gray jacket, some dark skinny jeans, a neutral-colored scarf, beige pumps, and a bold red bag – to match her red lipstick!

Jessica’s skinny jeans and pops of red make her outfit appear modern while her jacket adds an elegant flair, making her outfit appropriate for those tricky casual-yet-dressy fashion situations.

Jessica’s outfit is all about her elegant gray coat, and this short herringbone coat has a similar vibe.  Turn up the ladylike volume with some neutral-colored patent pumps and a bright red, statement-making bag. For a casual setting, dark skinny jeans make for the ideal modern contrast to the more refined pieces, while black pants could be swapped in to make the look more dressy.

I LOVE the parka you suggested in the second outfit, but I’m super sad that the website doesn’t ship to the US :( Any other suggestions for an affordable parka with a fur hood?

To me, all of these outfits look the same…all three girls are wearing long coats, skinny pants, Emma and Michelle are wearing what looks like the same boots just different colors, and Michelle and Jessica are wearing scarves. These outfits don’t stand out. I mean, they all look great! But posting three of the same type makes them redundant.
