Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Blake Lively, Sophia Bush, & Jenna Dewan
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Blake Lively, Sophia Bush, and Jenna Dewan. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Blake Lively’s Gossip Girl Style

Blake Lively stole the spotlight on the streets of New York City while filming scenes for the upcoming final season of Gossip Girl. Looking quintessentially “Serena,” (trendy and glamorous) Blake rocked a floral print mini skirt, a gray tank with silver embellishments, a neon handbag, and some yellow snakeskin print pumps. Her skirt and top combo looked so fresh and summer-perfect, especially thanks to the bright heels and bag.

This pleated floral print skirt is a beautiful piece that can be paired with an array of different tops; here, I’ve found a gray tank top like Blake’s, but instead of choosing one with embellishment, I’ve added a statement necklace instead. This creates a more versatile look (you can wear the tank and necklace separately, with other pieces) and emphasizes the detailing on the skirt. To get that classic Gossip Girl uniqueness, add pops of neon yellow to the look, like a two-tone bag and Serena-esque sky-high heels.
Look 2: Sophia Bush’s Sunny Day Style

Actress Sophia Bush did some casual shopping on a sunny summer day wearing some denim cutoffs, a white t-shirt, a colorful statement necklace, and turquoise loafer flats. Sophia’s bright and fun accessories totally transform her simple white-tee-and-jean-shorts combo into a fashion forward look that’s perfect for a fun day out.

Denim cutoffs and a white t-shirt is one of my go-to outfit combs during this season, because as Sophia has demonstrated, you can transform this outfit with just a few accessories. Of course, it helps to choose cool shorts – these have a slightly high-waisted fit and vintage feel to them – and a flattering top. But the centerpieces of this look are a colorful statement necklace that will boldly pop against your shirt, some bright loafer flats in a color that celebrates summer, and a printed canvas bag.
Look 3: Jenna Dewan is Boho Beautiful

Jenna Dewan looked cute in a boho-inspired look while doing some shopping: she wore skinny jeans, a woven open stitch tank top, brown wedge sandals, a brown fringe bag, and some rounded sunglasses. By keeping her colors neutral and her textures earthy, Jenna creates a casual look that’s anything but expected.

Jenna’s look is simple, yet features a few key pieces that give it a boho vibe. The woven tank top is amped up with the addition of a fringe bag worn across your body, circular sunglasses that give off a retro vibe, and brown wedge sandals that elevate the look… and your stature!

I love Blake Lively’s outfit, but I’d be more likely to wear Sophia Bush’s outfit on a regular basis. Dressing up the white t-shirt and denim combo is always a good idea.
