Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Ashley Tisdale, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, & Nicky Hilton
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Ashley Tisdale, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Nicky Hilton. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Ashley Tisdale’s Sweet Striped Look

Ashley Tisdale wore an eye-catching outfit while out holiday shopping with her mom: She donned a leather pleated skirt, a black and white striped sweater, a quilted Chanel handbag and some red wedge booties (with matching red lipstick).
I really like Ashley’s look for holiday parties — the heavy leather fabric of the skirt makes it the ideal statement for winter months (and works well with tights for cold weather). Also, I love Ashley’s red ankle booties – bright footwear is always unexpected and statement-making.

A pleated skirt, preferably in leather or a leather-esque material, forms the basis of this look. Skirts like these have been a blossoming trend and thus are becoming easier to find — this one is available at Kohl’s, and is so trendy for winter. Next, pair the skirt with a striped sweater, like this simple black and white one.
Now it’s time for accessories! Red wedge booties add a major pop of color and make the look especially hip; these have a side zipper as well, making them the perfect edgy addition. Next, choose sunglasses in a modernized shape, and tote a classic-looking quilted handbag.
Look 2: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Trendy Elegance
Model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked chic this week in boyfriend jeans, a white tweed jacket, a leopard print scarf, and neutral-colored ankle booties. What I love about this look is that Rosie took a classic, elegant piece — the tweed jacket — and modernized it with trendy accessories like a wild scarf and slouchy boyfriend jeans, creating an updated, super modern look.

Boyfriend jeans become less casual with the addition of a tweed jacket — or, if you choose to see it from a different perspective, a tweed jacket becomes more spontaneous with the addition of the jeans. A leopard print scarf keeps with the casual vibe, as do Wayfarer shades. Finally, balance the look with neutral colored booties and a small, structured bag in a classic shape.
Look 3: Nicky Hilton is Svelte for the Slopes
Nicky Hilton looked beyond cool in an all-black ensemble while in Aspen, and it’s perfect inspiration for your winter looks.
When it gets super cold, warmth is the priority, and it can be hard to feel stylish under so many layers. But Nicky’s outfit is the perfect example of how to dress warmly, comfortably, and stylishly in uber cold weather: Her shiny puffer jacket and patent high-top sneakers are standout pieces that transform black leggings and a black top into a fashionable look.

A puffer jacket feels like less of an “ugly necessity” for cold weather when it’s a sleek, shiny one with a cinched waist. Wear it with a black sweater, some slim, stretchy pants (these have the comfort of leggings, but are a bit thicker and are styled like a regular pair of pants) and some patent sneakers. Keep accessories in the same color family and choose pieces with a modern feel, like square sunglasses and a bag with metal hardware. A black and white striped beanie hat adds a bit of interest without disrupting the vibe of the outfit.

I really do love Ashley Tisdale’s outfit but I feel like you have posted Celeb Street styles incredibly similar to it before?? Striped shirts, skirts and booties look great in different color combinations, noted, but can we get more variety next time?
