Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Ashley Tisdale, Maria Menounos, & Jamie Chung

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Ashley Tisdale, Maria Menounos and Jamie Chung. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Ashley Tisdale’s Casual Cool Look

Ashley Tisdale looked like a haute hippy in an outfit that was a bit bohemian, a bit grungy, and all around cool. She wore some dark skinny jeans with a basic slouchy gray t-shirt, and amped up her look with an eye-catching open-front sweater, some motorcycle boots, a gray beanie hat, and a long pendant necklace. Her outfit is perfect for a casual day, but its eclectic elements still keep it looking fashionable and fun.

Transform a pair of dark skinny jeans and a basic t-shirt or tank by adding a bold, open-front sweater with a colorful print. A beanie hat and motorcycle boots add a bit of grunge to the look, while a pendant necklace lends a hint of charm. This look is great for a day of classes or shopping with friends.

Look 2: Maria Menounos’s Red and Black Combo

TV host Maria Menounos wore an outfit ideal for a night out, rocking some leather leggings, a simple white tank top, a fitted red boucle jacket with gold buttons, a gold collar necklace, and some black ankle booties. Maria’s boucle jacket has a very classic look to it, but is modernized by her trendy leather leggings and fun gold accessories.

Leather leggings are great for nights out, especially during the winter when dresses and skirts aren’t really viable. Contrast the edginess of the leggings with a classically inspired red boucle jacket (this one has gold buttons like Maria’s), worn over a simple white tank top. Black booties and a gold collar necklace finish off the look.

Look 3: Jamie Chung’s Sleek City Look

Jamie Chung was spotted out and about in a very NYC outfit, while she was visiting the city this week. She wore dark skinny jeans, cuffed at the ankles, as well as a black coat with a leather contrast lapel, black pointy-toe heels, thick-rimmed glasses, a chunky gray scarf, and some bold red lipstick. This outfit looks very put-together and can go from day to night; during the day, wear it with flats or boots, and then switch them out for some stilettos at night.

To get Jamie’s look, stick with dark colors: dark blue skinny jeans, a black coat, and black heels look chic and simple. This coat especially stands out with its leather lapel and cool zipper detailing – it’s also very similar to Jamie’s. A chunky gray knit scarf breaks up the black and adds extra warmth, while some thick-rimmed glasses make for a fun accessory. Add a bit of color with a bright, structured bag and red lips.

I thought we had finally all agreed to avoid wearing leggings as pants but I guess I was wrong and we are encouraging it instead.

Love the first outfit and I love most of the third outfit. I wish the coat had a collar made of the same material rather than leather…. I’m not a big fan of mixing materials.

Jamie Chung looks chic! If I was a heels girl I’d copy that stat!
