Summer celebrity fashion

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Ashley Tisdale, Lucy Hale, and Vanessa Hudgens. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Ashley Tisdale’s Hot Hues

Ashley Tisdale was spotted this week wearing an outfit that is the perfect modern look for summer. She chose a coral cropped tank and paired it with a black and white geometric patterned body con skirt. I love how Ashley took a summery color like coral and paired it with a more classically mod black-and-white color combo – such a fresh look! She also wore neutral suede ankle booties and accessorized with sunglasses and a turquoise ring.

To recreate Ashley’s look, find a body-con skirt that has a black and white print – the skirt I found happens to be leopard print, which works well with the turquoise ring because both items have an exotic vibe. A coral crop top is a fun, summer-friendly choice and looks great with the leopard print skirt.

To finish it all off, you can wear some black sunglasses like Ashley, and finally take your pick of shoe options: sandals, platform sandals, wedges, etc. would all work here. I found some neutral-colored ankle boots similar to Ashley’s – their open toe style makes them appropriate for the season.

Look 2: Lucy Hale’s Laid-Back Rocker Tribute

Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale went bowling this week, wearing a fun and casual look consisting of a loose-fitting Aerosmith shirt, white denim shorts, and white Converse Chuck Taylors. She accessorized with some gold chandelier earrings and a bright yellow shoulder bag. I love classic rock ‘n’ roll band shirts like Lucy’s, and nowadays there are tons are made specifically for girls, with cute cuts that are more flattering than your average unisex t-shirts.

White shorts are a summer staple, and they look super cute with white Chuck Taylors. Pair your shorts and shoes with a band t-shirt you love — recently, Forever 21 has been carrying tons of cute band tees and tanks, like this Def Leppard top in a cool, oversized shape. Accessorize with some gold chandelier earrings to glam the look up, and finish it off with a shoulder bag; I think this crossbody bag with beads and feather detailing is the perfect bohemian addition.

Look 3: Vanessa Hudgens’ Summery Shorts & Sandals

Vanessa Hudgens was one of many celebs to flock to Cannes this past week to attend the Cannes Film Festival and all the fabulous festivities and parties that go along with it!  While going to her hotel, she was photographed in some jean shorts, a breezy white blouse, some studded sandals with ankle ties, oversized sunglasses and a white necklace. Wearing white is one of the easiest ways to make your outfit scream “It’s summer!” and Vanessa’s ensemble does just that.

Jean shorts are a simple bottom and look updated and fresh when paired with a white peasant top or blouse. A long stranded necklace is a pretty addition, as are oversized sunglasses. Finish off the look with some studded sandals — it’s as easy as that!

I always love Vanessa’s style, but this one has to be in my top 10 of her outfits. I just love the comfortable, summery femininity of it. :)

Question, though. What the heck are those flaps sticking out from underneath Lucy’s and Vanessa’s shorts? I keep seeing them everywhere — what are they?

I really love how Ashley paired the cropped scalloped top with a highwaisted skirt. I always thought I didn’t want to show my tummy in cropped tops, but Ash solved my problem! This look is so cute but classy.

Love the geometric skirt on Ashley Tisdale. Geometric patterns are so fun and bold and are a great way to convey that carefree summer attitude. Great post. :)
