Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Kate Walsh, Nicole Anderson, and Charlotte Ronson. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Kate Walsh’s Shorts & Sweater Combo
Actress Kate Walsh was running errands this week in black shorts, suede booties, and a sweater in a multicolor weave. Kate’s outfit reminded me of something Isabel Marant would create — she is known for her effortlessly chic designs, often pairing shorts with chunky sweaters and booties.
While this perfectly balanced outfit works for cooler summer days, I also think this look would be perfect for the transition from summer to fall, as the proportions work for that “in between” time – so bookmark this to look back on when fall looms closer!

Kate’s look centers around her unique sweater, and I found a very similar piece at Topshop. The color of the sweater looks amazing with these chocolate brown booties, while neutral black shorts make the look chic. Kate had a light undershirt peeking out from her sweater to break up the colors, so I included this basic white tank, too. For accessories, keep the look simple with sunglasses and an easy cross-body bag.
Look 2: Nicole Anderson’s Bohemian Maxi Dress
Actress Nicole Anderson attended a celebrity picnic this week and transformed a printed maxi dress into a fabulous bohemian creation. She added a wide belt with studs and other fixtures, some large gold and wooden bangles, and a long pendant necklace, making the dress pop.
Overall, I think this look is adorable and perfect for summer – I love the print on Nicole’s dress, and the blue color works perfectly with her bohemian accessories.

To get Nicole’s look, you don’t need to shell out for a printed maxi dress: Instead, you can get away with a simple monochrome dress, since this look relies so heavily on accessories.
A wide, statement-making belt is the most important addition to the outfit, as it completely transforms the dress, giving it a bohemian-meets-western vibe. Some gold-toned wooden bangles complement the belt, as does a long gold-tone necklace with a hanging stone pendant. Simple sandals, like these t-strap flats, finish off the look.
Look 3: Charlotte Ronson’s Denim & Floral Mix

Designer and It-Girl Charlotte Ronson attended a movie screening recently in a floral minidress with a denim shirt tied up around her waist, and some heeled sandals.
It’s so cool to see how Charlotte transformed an easy floral dress, which is certainly a staple during the warm weather months, with the simple addition of a denim shirt. As Charlotte shows us, there are a million ways to wear your favorite dresses – all it takes is a little creativity.

A floral dress can be made a bit cooler with the addition of a denim or chambray shirt, which has the added bonus of protecting you from nighttime drafts. Since the print of the dress makes a statement in itself, there’s no need to pile on accessories: Keep the rest of the outfit simple with a cross-body bag (this one has a cute heart-shaped lock on the outside) or clutch and some heeled sandals.
