Celebrity Street Style: Coco Rocha, Shay Mitchell, & Jessica Alba

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Coco Rocha, Shay Mitchell and Jessica Alba. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Coco Rocha’s Maxi Skirt

Supermodel Coco Rocha worked a cool maxi skirt while off duty and attending New York Fashion Week. She wore a gray printed maxi skirt (with a cheeky above-the-knee slit) with a white button-up shirt, statement necklace, and black blazer. Her outfit is the perfect balance of fun (her skirt and necklace) and refined (her shirt and blazer).

Skirt, Necklace, Blazer, Sunglasses, Booties
A printed gray maxi skirt has a fun, boho-cool element to it, but when paired with a classic button-up shirt and black blazer, it becomes a bit more uptown-chic. A statement necklace worn over the shirt makes for a cool visual accent, and sunglasses add extra flair on a sunny day. Finish it all off with some black ankle booties, and you’ll look as modelesque as Coco.
Look 2: Shay Mitchell’s Tuxedo Pants

Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell was also spotted looking chic at New York Fashion Week, rocking a pair of hot pink tuxedo trousers. She kept her bold pants looking classic by pairing them with a black blazer and a black draped top, along with some black heels and a cream-colored clutch.

Colored tuxedo trousers, when paired with a black blazer, make for an androgynous and super-chic look. These blue trousers have a similar look to Shay’s– the bold cobalt blue shade is a little more subtle than Shay’s bright pink, but still makes a big statement. Wear your pants with classic pieces like a black blazer, black top, and classic patent pumps. Add a pretty bracelet and a studded clutch to finish the ensemble.
Look 3: Jessica Alba’s Casual Chic

Photo: Pacific Coast News
Actress Jessica Alba looked chic yet casual while running errands this week, in some dark skinny jeans, trendy wedge sneakers, and a slouchy tee and sweater, topped off with a structured blazer and cream-colored scarf. By adding a blazer to her casual pieces, Jessica makes her look more put-together; a blazer is also a perfect alternative to a light jacket for those early springtime temperatures.

Jeans, Sweater, Blazer, Scarf, Sneakers
If you feel like sprucing up your basic jeans-and-sweater combo, try adding standout pieces like wedge sneakers and a blazer. The wedge sneaker trend is still going strong, and provides a cool way to be casual yet dressed up. A gray tweed or houndstooth blazer lends some structure to the outfit and finishes off this polished take on casual.

Love Coco’s outfit! I’ve never really considered pairing a button-up with a maxi skirt, but it looks fab.
