I’m not really into designers that much. I’m admittedly more of a mainstream kind of girl. I don’t even know what most designers actually look like so obviously designers are not really where I draw my fashion inspiration from.

You know what, I never really understood the whole deal with Betsey Johnson initially. I thought, ‘well, her style is pretty quirky but I don’t get it.’ But it all changed when I walked into one of her stores in San Francisco. Everything was so interesting but it didn’t scream out in that gaudy ‘look at me, I have a personality!’ kind of way.

Now more than ever I’m driven to get a good paying job so I can afford her frilly, girly, rocked out, elegant stuff. Favorite designer! And love the outfit you posted with her.
