4 Easy Outfit Formulas for Holiday Parties

The holiday season has officially arrived, and you know what that means – lots of excuses to get dressed up! Whether it’s a big family gathering, a night out with friends, or a formal cocktail party, it’s always nice to a have a few outfit ideas on hand for those holiday festivities.

Here are four holiday outfit formulas that are easy to put together, but will keep you looking chic and polished:

Outfit #1 – Sweater + Sequin Skirt

This outfit is the perfect mix of textures and styles. Pair a fancy, eye-catching sequin skirt with a cozy emerald sweater for a festive yet comfortable look. Pointy-toed black flats are a classic addition, but keep things trendy with a studded collar necklace. Finish off the ensemble with a neutral clutch, twisted bun, and rich red lips.

Outfit #2 – Sleeveless Blouse + Cardigan + Dark Wash Jeans

Want to look cute and stylish at a more casual gathering? Grab your nicest pair of dark wash jeans, then pair them with a dressy sleeveless blouse in a rich jewel tone. Layer on a simple, cozy cardigan, and dress things up with a pair of leopard pumps. A sparkly headband and cute gold stud earrings polish off the look.

A lace dress in a rich, dark color is always a good choice for a holiday party. Pair it with a fitted black blazer (this one has cool leather detailing and zipper pockets). Keep your legs warm with black tights, which go perfectly with these high heel black booties. Accessorize with jeweled earrings and a black-and-white clutch. Style your hair with a few loose waves, and you’re ready to go!

Every girl should have a pair of black pants in her closet – they’re the perfect base for a dressy look. Pair them with a sheer blouse and red wedge heels for a classic combo. Add some sparkle with a silver chain necklace and metallic clutch. Go for a bold eye look with some mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow (smokey eye, anyone?), paired with beautiful wavy locks.

    What a coincidence – I just got a green lace dress which I plan to wear with a black blazer. :) Love outfit #2 as well, great for family get-togethers!

    I think the 3rd one outfits that is Lace dress and and nice black blazer. That one cool look with all those accessories.
