* In case you missed it, Google did a special tribute to Freddie Mercury on September 5th, which would have been his 65th birthday. If you’re a Queen fan or just enjoy fantastic displays of graphic design awesome, you have to watch.

* While Kate Middleton may be everyone’s fashion icon these days, FabSugar thinks Pippa’s the one to watch.

* Send this to your most fashionable friend: People lists the most stylish BFFs in Hollywood.

*  Don’t buy Madonna Hydrangeas, whatever you do! Consider yourself warned.

* Very Aware lists four TV shows that need to end. I’m a House fan, but now that Lisa Edelstein is gone, I kinda have to agree with this…

* Young fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson just launched, Rookie, her online mag for teen girls, and we’re already loving it. The list of high school survival tips from Zooey Deschanel, Joss Whedon, and more, is particularly rad, as is their list of cartoon characters and their teenage alter egos.

* This ruffle necklace DIY would be a cute way to use extra fabric you have lying around or repurpose old clothing you no longer want.

* 7 Awesomely Melodramatic Break-Up Songs from the ’90s. So cheesy, so amazing.

* Did you hear about the controversy surrounding Adele’s Vogue cover? We love Adele and definitely don’t understand why Vogue didn’t treat her like any other cover girl. Still a gorgeous picture, though.

* CollegeCandy did a great roundup of cute college loungewear picks that are almost stylish enough to wear to class. Note that we said “almost.”

* We love the idea of a customizable blazer – what a cool idea!

* Oprah gives us her expert opinion on what NOT to wear to the airport. I’m totally guilty of wearing way too much jewelry every time.

    Mallory – It’s actually not a spoiler – don’t worry; they didn’t write Cuddy off the show, Lisa Edelstein just decided not to renew her contract for this upcoming season. It was all over the news.

    There are some pretty great links :D but I cannot believe the thing with Adele and Vogue!! She’s absolutely GORGEOUS exactly the size she is. I don’t know why they felt the need to cut everything but her face off the cover..

    I’d be more shocked by the Vogue Adele cover if it wasn’t for the fact Q did exactly the same thing a few months ago. Only with bigger false lashes.

    Vogue’s reason may be stupid and shallow, but at least we all know what it is. What is music magazine Q’s reasoning? Especially since they’ve had some pretty hideous guys on that cover before.
