ok those ‘bracedlets’ are absolutely gross. i’m all for repurposing materials into pretty jewelry and such…but ewwww. maybe its because i had braces for such a long time and im psychologically scarred or something lol

Tipping isn’t customary in Australia! I live here, and waiters get $20+ an hour! They don’t expect tips – you only generally hand them out when the staff is EXCEPTIONAL! Alternatively, if you pay in cash and the bill comes to say $39, you’ll usually drop that $1 change in the tip jar which gets shared among staff at the end of the month.

Also we’ve had gross photos on cigarettes for years… We also have the lowest smoking rate int he world, I think… I only know two smokers.

    Dear Photo is so awesome!

I would probably like the bracedlets….if I didn’t know what they were made out of. LOVED the Dear Photograph blog! I spend 20% of my time reading and glancing at the picture and the other 80% studying what changed in their kitchens, yards, etc.

Yeah Canada has had the gross pictures for as long as I can remember! As a non-smoker, spotting them when you see people smoking can make you lose your appetite, but it’s a great deterrant!
