* The Beauty Department shows you the perfect makeup to pair with this season’s brights.

* Also St. Patrick’s Day-related: 7 Chic Ways to Wear Green for St. Patty’s

* DIY French Tip Two Tone Shoes, from Superficial Girls. Did those shoes come out well or what?! Fantastic way to try a spring trend for less.

* Another fun project to try: DIY Sculpey Bead Necklace.

* One more: DIY Draped Skirt. They’re selling almost this EXACT skirt at Nasty Gal right now for $30+, so this is a great way to save on a trendy style.

* Hunger Games fans, you need to visit Hunger Names for your HG name and district! Mine is Thicket Gristlewhist, from District 12, and I was killed by “a literal manifestation of teen angst.” Awesome.

* Get in the spring mood with 13 Floral Pieces to Keep Your Wardrobe Fresh and 13 Bright Pieces to Liven Up Your Look, both from R29.

* Introducing our absolute fave nail blog of the moment: PSHIIIT. Yes, it’s in French, but the photos are enough.

* Kind of weird but also amusing: Students at a Chinese university did a knockoff Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Somehow I doubt this would fly at most American universities, but never say never!

* Creepy but also cool: How to Give Yourself a Veiny Manicure, from Rookie.

* This is super old but super cute: How to Make Your Own Cute Knickers, via Drummbellina.

Anything Hunger Games related is awesome. My favorite is the website that features food from the book. And I love tulle. So girly.

ITS ST PADDY’S DAY!!! As an Irish girl I honestly cannot put up with you calling him St. Patty. Frankly it’s offensive..Paddy is derived from the Irish, Pádraig, hence those mysterious, emerald double-Ds.
Patty is the diminutive of Patricia, or a burger, and just not something you call a fella.
There’s not a sinner in Ireland that would call a Patrick, “Patty”. It’s insulting. It’s really as simple as that.
