inStyle picked the 100 best dresses of the decade. Do you agree with their list?
Looking Forward To: Spring Fashion Trends is a great rundown of the looks we can expect to see this season, courtesy of WhoWhatWear. While some of these trends aren’t exactly new (um, pastels are ALWAYS in for spring), it’s still worth checking out for the fashion eye-candy.
Lindsey, one of our newest writers, is also an “unoffical intern” for one of our favorite models, Coco Rocha. So cool! She wanted to get the word out about Coco’s new Facebook Page. It really is her, and she really does write back! Also, you can follow Coco on Twitter as well.

It’s always fun guessing who will wear what during awards season, and if InStyle had their way, here’s who they would have rocking which gowns at the Golden Globes.
Check out this video on what the future of shopping could look like. Is that cool or what?
This video, portraying the evolution of a model from walking on the street to appearing on a billboard, including everything from makeup to Photoshop, shows how much actually goes into the “flawless” photos we see every day.
According to the UK’s Mail Online, fashion’s favorite hue (black, of course), may not actually be “universally flattering”. Not sure I agree, but here’s what they have to say:
Black has long been lauded for its ability to flatter women’s figures and suit every occasion. But the colour has a rather less flattering side-effect say the experts – it ages the face. Black clothing can highlight dark lines under the chin, shadows around the eyes and wrinkles on the face, colour consultants say. And it can even make those who wear it appear to have dark ‘spokes’, or fissures, in the iris. While black does give the appearance of a slimmer figure by making the shadows from less visible, wearing it next to the face brings out the worst, explained colourist Jules Standish.

Yikes! H&M “destroys” clothes it doesn’t sell! To be fair, H&M reps have commented that this isn’t standard practice at most of their stores and that they won’t do it anymore, but it’s still very sad that this was happening at all.

Thank you so much for the UGG alternatives. If i have to see another poor girl on with a great outfit and a pair of pink UGGs, I swear i might cry.

That style evolution thing has been bouncing around for a while, I think; isn’t it that one sponsored by Dove? There’s another one that’s all about the affect of advertising on young girls — I think it’s called “Onslaught”? Definitely worth checking out.

“A Single Man”, if i am not mistaken, includes Nicholas Hoult in it. Nicholas Hoult was in a British t.v. programme Skins. I think it’d be really cool if you guys did a post on the Skins style, because a lot of great fashion choices can be seen on that show, I feel.
great blog btw!

Love the InStyle 100 best dreses! Eva Mendes in the white Dior with the turquoise jewelry is my favorite…also a little bias because I know Rachel Zoe dressed her :)

I love the “tips on how to dress 10 lbs thinner.” Even at 110lbs these looks will be super flattering! Dark cardigan, nude heals, great fitting jacket, long necklace – all MUSTS for every weight.
My new year’s resolution is to wear flattering looks that I feel confident in every day (At the VERY least: accessories, tinted moisturizer, mascara, & flattering jeans daily). I feel like I “gave up” on my appearance 3 days out of every week last year – and this blog has helped me get back on track soo much! Thanks! <3

I really liked the list from InStyle. Especially the yellow Oscar de la Renta dress which Kelly Ripa wore. It is the same one Carrie wore in Sex and the city s6, only hers was pink. I going to try to sew a similar dress.
But there is one dress I think should be on the list. The red John Galliano dress that Heidi Klum wore to the Oscars 2008. Love that dress.

resently i have been working everywhere, i have off course worked at the H&M stores and main storage (quote from one of my friends:”there are those who are seaching everywhere for jobs and cannot get anything… and then there are you who just in general works)
I have an even worse insider-story the H&M won’t even let shoes the are not correctly branded “made in cina” go to the stores…. they are simply burned…. but then again its about what every bigger store does… food stores poisen food that doesn’t sell and has went over the “best before” date, and so on, because they worry that people will steal it, because most food can be eaten for a longer period… i don’t know what is worse poisen food or destroying clothes, there are people who needs both!! (sorry for my writing english is clearly not my first language… im from a scandinavian contry)
