    @Hannah really?? One typo? She makes a valid argument and is trying to actively change something that she views as wrong. How many teens take a stand like that? I just think that is a silly reason not to sign her petition

    Hahaha! The comic book one was genius and hilarious!!! It looks so weird when male characters do poses that we generally associate with female characters. I feel as if the ridiculousness of Mr. Hawkeye’s poses calls attention to how ingrained I am about sexualized female poses.

    If I see a female doing those poses, I don’t think much about it, except that it looks attractive. Seeing a muscular, “manly” man doing those poses makes me realize how gender-specific those poses are. Thanks for sharing this!

    Thanks for linking to The Hawkeye Initiative! I’m a big comic book fan and got to watch the Initiative come to life, so it’s good to see it getting attention from a wide variety of sites – it makes such a great point!
