I cannot get away from theoatmeal.com.
Perfect way to spend my winter break, haha.

Great links! I especially appreciate the one about rebates, since I just bought my boyfriend a Droid phone and I’d really appreciate actually receiving that $100 rebate they offered.

I sell on etsy and really like it! It’s a great way to make a little bit of extra money.
Ava
Interesting links this week! The google view pictures were hilarious.
The Chanel 5 article was cute. Some flaws could have made the implied conclusion invalid. For instance, an alt reason for women finding their soulmate while wearing Chanel over others is simply that Chanel is more often used than others, thus there’s a higher likeihood of the correlation anyway.
On the email list, what’s with “reducing emails to 140 characters”?? There’s already Twitter for short stuff. The population’s literacy, professionalism, and ability to write decently are rapidly declining. The next gen needs to learn to write letters as if they had an education.

@ Ava I took from the article that many e-mails contain useless information, and that a to the point message is better than a drawn-out one. But the one feature I would really like to see put into place is the yes, no, maybe reply buttons. It might not seem like it at first, but I bet many people could save time with these buttons.
I cannot wait to see Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, the SyFy channel recently had a wonderful re-imagination of Alice in Wonderland and Burton’s version looks to be just as good.
Maya
Just had to drop a line and say I absolutely love these articles. They might not get a lot of comments but I always read them and the links are always awesome, you can find some really great and surprising stuff like this. Keep up the good work!
