* Is there a science behind stardom? Some scientists say it’s about having the “perfect” smile, and that Cheryl Cole’s genuine-looking grin had her destined for fame.

* If you’re ready to start holiday shopping, Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP newsletter has some fabulous (though occasionally pricey) gift ideas.

* A Closer Look at How Fashion Bloggers Make Money, from Fashionista. Many bloggers are being shady about disclosures, which isn’t cool, BUT, as the comments point out, this isn’t unlike what magazines have been doing for YEARS…

* The Glitter Guide did a fabulous DIY tutorial for the Tory Burch Eddie Bow Flat – would be a perfect Thanksgiving break project.

* Another great DIY idea: Tom Binns-inspired Punk Pin Necklace – so edgy-cool.

* Teen Vogue takes you backstage at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, with plenty of behind-the-scenes photos.

* R29 lists some easy dorm meals you can make in a hurry. Yum!

* File this under unbelievable but true: Bossini has released a new fashion line inspired by… Toy Story?

* Equally unbelievable: Underwear that burns calories. What will they think of next?

* On a similar note, this is both absolutely crazy and totally creative: Interactive “I’m Engaged to Prince William” sculpture. (Sidenote: Isn’t this what Madame Tussauds is for?)

* Whether you’re a Twilight fan or not, you’ll still be able to appreciate Kristen Stewart’s Breaking Dawn press tour style. She’s stepped it up, style-wise, and we like it.

* People Magazine named their Sexiest Man Alive this week… can you guess which Hollywood actor topped the list?

* Coke Bottles Through the Ages! Love the old school non-curved bottles; how cool would it be to stumble upon one of those at a yard sale?

* As you guys probably know, the Versace for H&M collection launches on Sunday, November 19th in the US. Want to shop it? Fashionista lists which H&M stores will be carrying the clothes.

* A Guide to Paris: Books and Apps, from Everything Fabulous. Great whether you’re planning a trip or just dreaming up ideas for the future.

* We enjoyed this fashion-related video from PBS: It’s a video project about skateboard t-shirt designers, graphic designers, Malaysian musicians, and more.

* Love these DIY Balayage Highlights, from a Pair & a Spare. These actually look manageable at home, which you can’t say for most color jobs.

    Good luck to everyone who’s shopping the Versace for H&M Collection! I got to check it out today since it launched early in London and I wrote a write-up about it with some tips and hints. It’s linked on my blog in my comment name. Have fun and go wild!

    Loving the Delia’s link! I was only 7 in 1999, but my sister was 14 and she got the Delia’s catalogs in the mail. I loved looking through them and pretending like I was some really cool teenager :)
